So I'm autistic lol....I actually quite liked this and would read again.

I can see the dislike some people may have over the wording but I truly feel that feeling get lost in translation so that's that. I agree the story isn't a good representation of autism in its most real sense but I don't come to read webnovels for thier medical accuracy. Do I wish autism wouldn't be used as a blanket term, yes, but I also am able to differentiate between a good story and a not so good... more>> story.

This is fluff! This is sweet! This is cute! I would read again. <<less

Honestly, I quite enjoy this quick read.

Both Fang Fang and Xiao Lisheng are not perfect, but they kinda completed each other. Fang Fang is so sweet and wonderful.

The reason why I can't give this full star is

Spoiler

I'm not sure if it's caused of the translation or the author truly write the diary and Xiao mentioning Fang Fang as "mentally ret*rded" person.

Nevertheless I'm not comfortable at that part and not sure if that is how you should treat person with autistic tendency

In addition, I don't mind multiple POVs, but the sudden changes and moves are bit confusing sometimes esp when they used the first POV.

Oh and really? You had to talk with your so called ex for like 30 minutes? Hmmm

Glad for Father Fang to finally knock some sense to Xiao about marriage

Ending is nice and smutty, they finally took another step in their rs! Good job for them <<less

first of all, y’all the shou is literally implied to have been r*ped and he was sexually assaulted again when he met his rapist again. The LEAST of your concerns should be whether the waiter slash ‘ex’ and the shou “kissed.”

second of all, autism is not some alien being inside a person wtf it is literally just a differently wired brain, there is no “other” personality. It’s not like a personality disorder or a system of sorts. This story is not at all a good representation or informative about autism,... more>> I hope people who actually don’t know about autism and don’t have it would stop claiming this novel handles autism well. Just starting with calling the autistic gong a slur even as an absurdist joke or whatever reason is already telling of how it handles autism. This whole novel actually treats anything to do with mental health poorly, i’m convinced there’s no research and everything is all purely based on the writer’s assumptions like s*xual trauma can’t be “recovered” from in just three months and therapy doesn’t do that for you in the first place. Cognitive therapy generally lets you process it and gives you ways to cope and throughout the sessions, you’re checked on with how you’re doing and guided with those ways to cope. It doesn’t give direct solutions. There is no way trauma can be “solved.”

lastly, li sheng really shouldn’t have been blamed for keeping his trauma to himself.

the continuously shifting perspectives was confusing. The romance was subpar. The characters also subpar. <<less

Definitely needs a TW for ablelist language that is never fully addressed. The ML (Fang Fang) is repeatedly referred to in quite degrading language, and it did make me uncomfortable as it was his loved ones calling him such words. I really don’t appreciate derogatory language, and while I acknowledge that it does happen in real life, the fact that the author chooses to use such language even in author notes, and treats it like a joke, really does grate on me.

The use of such language really did take away... more>> from an otherwise sweet story about overcoming past trauma and learning to love someone as they are. Honestly, I just found the overall story quite disappointing, the potential was there, but the emotions never really felt entirely genuine. <<less

This, is honestly one of the best shorts I've ever read.

I am not autistic, but from everything I know, this might also be one of the best, trust to life, and well researched story about autism, particularly among CNovels.

The story of Fang Fang, who is autistic, not ret*rded, and people dealing with it. And no magical autism cures.

The story of Xiao LiSheng, and how being r*ped by someone you have a crush on is still r*pe and leaves you traumatized.

The story of ex-virg*ns having bad s*x and learning how to get better.

The story of their parents who make hard choices and sincerely love their children.

Woah, idk wat to say. Tbh the only reason I was attracted to the story or read it was because I saw "autistic gong" in the description. For the story, gotta say I was frustrated at times with li sheng, the reason why the frustration came was obviously because of that dog sh*t hoe luo bin fuvker. May the fuvker rot and die.

The ending was alright for me. I'm actually rather annoyed and I don't even know why. No actually I do, I fuvking hated that s*upid lame... more>> explanation of li sheng in the ending chapter, like how can he be not that cross about wat happened. I feel that the story was too soft and easy peasy with this big of an issue ans luo bin was not really punished.

Spoiler

I MEAN IT'S r*pe! You can't justify it with saying because he gave money and helped and also cause he liked him at the same. Like lemme just say, if u really putting it that way and being all I liked him yada yada, why even say it's r*pe then and u have a psychological shadow and all that shit! I'm so mad how he was soooo lenient on this issue and was like I don't wanna hate it but I don't like him too. I hated it. There should have been more punishment or something. I just hate this easy attitude.

Anyways apart from this idk wat else to say. It was an alright read ig. Not really amazing nor really really bad. <<less
