A [Summoner] who possesses [summoned beasts] from birth.

The summoned beasts that everyone possesses are good partners with various abilities, and the higher the rank of the summoned beast, the stronger the one who possesses it, making it an admired existence.

Albero, the youngest member of the remote noble Rushout family, had the lowest of the low as his summoned beast, a tiny [Mole] that could fit in the palm of his hand.

Albero, scorned by his family, and Ashe, his childhood friend who owns a high-ranking summoned beast, both enroll in the [Asgard Summoning Academy] to become summoners together.

However, the true story begins when Albero, who actually possesses an incredible summoned beast, starts his school life.

This is the story of a boy who loses everything and gains the strongest power, leading his school life.

It's pretty generic but the translation is good. I read ahead with Google translate and wanted to comment on Eli0s's spoiler

MC absolutely despises the upperclassmen and teachers who used his class as bait, including his older sister. However, there was a scene with his childhood friend where he tells her that he understands that she would have just been throwing her life away by trying to help him, but he can't bring himself to treat her as if nothing happened. Telling her that she should just stick with the other guy (Grits, I think his name was?) who was a "better fit for her". She shouts that she won't let things stay this way as he's walking away and he internally monologs that he wonders about that.

Basically he doesn't become hyper edgelord, woe is me. But he clearly defines that he's not going to be a doormat anymore.

Edit: We're up to Ch.34 at this point and its clear that Albero has no thoughts of revenge that a typical edgelord MC would have in this situation. Hes justifiably angry and distrustful of the people involved with what happened, but aside from having more confidence, treats other people the same way he would have before everything. Nice change of pace from revenge-focused MCs <<less

It started pretty okay, not anything new or original, but okay nonetheless.

The protagonist is considered tr*sh, ignored, looked down upon, because of his weak summon and seems to have already given up.

Fast forward to the academy, the main place of the story, he is F tier, with his classmates and, while still looked down upon, enjoy his school life.

And then it goes downhill.

Spoiler

The academy is attacked by a powerful demon, shitty teacher decides to sacrifice all the "tr*sh" students, no one cares.

Then the demon kills the MC and all his friends while his sister and other high ranking students just watch like it's not their business...

MC sees his friends in a dream, they tell him he is special, his summon is actually super op and he saves the day.

I was already fed up with the story at this point but seeing our MC being all edgy hating the world and his childhood friend who did nothing wrong was too much.
