I couldn't understand all the low ratings on this one so I had to write a review. First of all, I really like this one and am in the process of finding similar novels to it, the writing is simple, nothing too grand, but that's exactly why it's easy to understand and follow. It is a kind of transmigration/ world hopping novel, where the MC find himself in the position of an antagonist (minor or major) inside a book, with all of his actions controlled by the plot, but once... more>> he dies he starts over, although this time with his original (stunningly handsome) appearance, and the freedom of action, so he tries to protect his family and guide them to be people who can assume the responsibility of high positions and be able to develop beyond what they could ever accomplish in the original work. I should also mention that the MC didn't actually read the books he finds himself in, he had to learn all about them little by little. The MC is an impossibly handsome man, aloof and cold, a bit too cold even, he's smart and a good strategist, he's an accomplished martial artist even if the worlds normally put restraints on his abilities, he has no problem hurting or killing his adversaries if it meant protecting his people. He always finds himself in a position of high authority and use it to teach his younger family members to be able to succeed him and bear the responsibility of said position, although at times, his teaching methods is a bit.... harsh, borderline illegal or inhumane, but it works so who cares. And another aspect that really love is that there is NO ROMANCE!!! He might be already married or with a child when he transmigrate, but that's it! Unlike most other novels with the same genre, he's not after women and is generally disinterested in that aspect, so some of you who enjoy harem might not find it attractive, but if you're not, then I actively advise you to give it a try. <<less

The first arc is lacking focus and cohesiveness. Seeing that it doesn’t end for another 20 chapters (making it over 1/5 of the entire novel) made me just give up and drop this. That said, it was good before it started to fall apart so it might get better.
