It certainly deserves a higher rating, so I'm giving it a 5⭐️. It might not be the most original novel out there, but overall I really enjoyed it. The FL is competent and relatable, she actually works hard to achieve her goal. I love how she faces crises but never gives up, and never avoids confrontations just because she doesn't like the situation 👍🏻

I like the ML too, he's not cold and emotionless like most other MLs and he acknowledges the FL's talent. It is also very realistic how their relationship (?) isn't all smooth sailing (and I'm not talking about s*upid misunderstandings due to lack of communication) and their plans don't always work the way they want.

It looks very cliché but the plot and the characters are actually well written imo, there's also no time to get bored bc many things happen one after another.

Although the setting is similar to Isn't Being A Wicked Woman Much Better, they aren't really that similar. Sure, they might have some common points but they have different plots, focuses, character dynamics and atmospheres. Give it a try!

I don't want to seem ungrateful to the time and effort the translator did to translate this novel into English, but it kinda sucks. I read worst before but reading this gave me quite a headache, I sometimes got confused on what or whom the characters are talking about the pronouns got mixed up.

In terms of the plot, it is somewhat unique with how the female lead plots to overthrow her family members and take over the business instead.
