1st half of the story was spent on creating a quite smooth & exciting jouney of MC towards stardom. He entered a boy group survival show, and there he met a lot of people, create a lot of relationships, and temper himself with his new opportunity as a reborn person.

the first half was filled with MC interactions with all the side characters, even more than MC interaction with ML, which was, in my opinion, very enjoyable. But suddenly, in the 2nd half, all of that relationship and side characters development just fanished and the story abruptly promote the weird ambiguous interaction between MC & ML.

MC, until the half of this 'romantic journey' still held the impression that ML likes the original MC, and from the 1st half of the story, it was clear that MC meant to avoid having any relationship with ML & ori MC. MC still avoided ori MC but suddenly he accepted everything that ML did for him? Kinda weird cause it was clear that the one who held favorable impression towards MC first was ori MC rather than ML, but MC accepted ML faster than ori MC.

the romance was rushed too. MC was someone who already been in the entertainment industry, while ML was still inexperienced so his impatience was understandable, but MC clearly had more knowledge about how romantic relationship early in their career could be derimental to both of their own growth & their group growth whether in terms of focus or public opinion (tbh, the author clearly just didn't want to enter any risks factor or just want to rush to the end as we could read that much of MC and ML ambiguous and romantic gestures such as kissing & making out were done in semi-public places without any consequences despite their popularity).

there's also a sense of wasted storylines with all the supporting characters, especially MC family & the bandmates that should've taken some part in the 2nd half of the story, whether to add some obstacles or just tie their friendship and familial love together.

It was said that the siblings doted on their brother because they thought that inside he was a kind, and good child. (Although it feels a little strange that they would not notice his bad character being family and all, but I guess we can attribute it to the original hiding it too well? Or maybe family love/cute looks bias?) Regardless, it was also said that after they discovered his true character, they were disappointed and disgusted with his character. It made me feel like it was a good thing for MC to transmigrate. This way they would really have a kind younger brother, and their doting feels more well deserved. Also they could avoid multiple upsetting events and the overall disappointment. (Although I'm not saying that taking somebody's body is good;;;)

First thing, which a lot of people don't seem to realize.. the promise to avoid the protags and focus on training and turning things around and achieving his dream, was meant to be up until the end of the competition. This was said a couple times in the novel as well.. He even said to ML they can be friends after the finals (because he didn't want the original plot to come into play and take away all that he worked for).

MC is not dense. The guys around him that suddenly develop an interest in him have made no show whatsoever that would make him think they are interested in being more than how he sees them, as a good brothers. The only reason we know this is because we have reader's perspective. Even the novel states that they are so good at expression management, their true feelings hardly show. And when it does, the MC either doesn't see it, sees it but they don't tell explain their feelings when he asks about it or they quickly recover. MC is focused on his goal and never wavered from it. I saw some people saying he spent the second half chasing after the ML and seemingly forgot about all that he said he would do, and I'm like, "...... which story are you reading????" MC deciding to not completely avoid people who have actually been helpful to him, especially in front of cameras that are recording everything to avoid misunderstandings, is him chasing someone? Even when he became more friendly with them he never once let it interfere with his goals and aspirations for the contest.

Also, saying the relationship between MC and ML is rushed? I'm here in chapter 68 of 93 and MC has only recently started thinking about his feelings for ML (baaaaarely. And I mean baaaaaaarely! He hasn't even reached the stage of thinking he might actually like the ML in that way) and he still doesn't know that ML likes him. So which story were they reading?? And I like that ML hasn't rushed to confess and when you read it, it makes sense that he hasn't as yet.

The thing that grinds my gears the most is the bashing of the ML. This story's ML is actually the sweetest and the best guy there! (Even up to now he hasn't revealed any of the things he's done behind the scenes for MC even though he knows MC is praising others for doing them.. sigh..) At first, I thought the best guy would be the one from the same company, but he's getting more and more annoying and the others are more into forcing MC to do things their way, while ML is the only one who is interested in doing things that focus around the MC's wants and needs. Such as noticing he's upset and buying him food he likes, talking about games, etc... While the others are all just "Oppa, notice me!" Ugh! I don't blame him for swerving them every hance he gets because they are really too much. (I especially loved the walk up to the seats on finals night!! MC going up all smiles and cuteness, oblivious to ML sniping everyone else as they went along and leaving a wreckage behind them was beautiful!) Now I'm only at chapter 68 and so far, ML hasn't done anything to make me dislike him but he's currently not in a good state so let's see what happens next......

The s*x scene on the extra is kind of... Unique. MC was replaced (called) as a cat and ML's d*ck is called a cat stick, basically saying that the cat (mc) was playing with the cat stick.

ie how the MC doesn’t have the OG memories but still seems to get along with his siblings just fine? His siblings don’t question his OC behavior and still dote on him. What is going to happen after all this and he goes back to see his family but he has zero knowledge about himself?
