Why translators waste time with this type of shitty novels?

In the first chapter there is a r*pe scene and a long and praising description of the rapist's ''sexy'' body. Does the author think that if the rapist is a handsome guy, then the r*pe is acceptable? Apparently, yes.

Everything from the setting to the characters' dialogue is very poorly written and so out of touch with reality or at least a semblance of realism, it's basically a series of cringy moments. The MC condemns the rapist's action not for the r*pe... more>> itself, but because he dared to ruin her beautiful and perfect body. Had she been a plain woman, then it would have been fine.

The maids talk to her like she is a street cat and not a noble lady, so they are surprised when they get punished.

The MC literally says in front of several other people that the rapist isn't good in bed, disrobes showing her half nude body to prove she has several bruises, says she is divorcing him and stabs him (who is a prince) with a hairpin. Is it believable that a woman in ancient China can act like that, harming a prince and everyone just support her? That chapter only lacks a "you go girl" gif.
Then, after divorcing him, she becomes so beautiful ''Her face in smile, bright as the spring sun and clear as the autumn moon'' and starts learning martial arts. I am sure she will become a genius in no time at all thanks to her natural skills.
Life is too short to keep reading this tr*sh <<less

First of all, stop saying r*pe like everytime something like this happens especially you dont even contemplate the female mc's situation first. I think its their wedding night, and the FL has a bit flaw of her character that she calculate that prince okay. I mean, so if a woman was calculated it is r*pe? Then if the other party reciprocated and then schemed back, especially if its a man? What then? Like bruh..?! Go, read some modern day novel and stop reading ancient/historical stories if you want some justice... more>> or equality or something... lol <<less

The beginning was good, but towards the ending the book angered my common sense and made me so angry I didn’t want to finish reading. 😒

Pretty funny so far. MC is audacious but good at threatening people so everyone has to put up with her.

Really just a story about a modern woman going to ancient China and trampling on conservativism.
