Synopsis:

FL has the fate of being the Hero's lover that's why the Hero always loved the FL in every reincarnation no matter whose character she reincarnates into. So, FL always dies as a plot point to awaken the Hero's power. FL, fed up living only to die at the age of 15 for the Hero, finally snapped and killed the Hero on her 6th reincarnation. Due to a system error caused by her actions, she reincarnated for the 7th time as a hidden character, the daughter of the Demon King... more>> — the Hero's enemy and the final boss of the game.

POSITIVES:

• Shekina, the MC, claps back in a satisfying manner. Whatever the other party does to her, she makes sure to return it tenfold.

• The difference in values between humans & demons are delved into in this novel, which I find quite fascinating and intriguing. What one race considers as normal isn't normal for the other race. What one race considers as nonsensical isn't nonsensical at all for the other.

• Characters are decent & likeable (except for a fool blinded by faith called Yuriel).

• Character developments — especially when it comes to their feelings and views of others

FALLBACKS:

• There's a glaring plot hole right at the beginning. FL always died from poisoning in every reincarnation. She became an archmage, a top-level spiritist, and a swordsman but why did she not find the culprit who poisoned her? Why did she not prepare to avoid from being poisoned? Why did she not learn about the poison itself to find an antidote or search for someone who can develop one? She had 6 chances... Unfortunately, my questions were never answered cause it wasn't explained in the novel.

• There are quite a lot of inconsistencies. For ex: Shekina's cause of death. At first, it was narrated that the FL always died from poisoning. Then around 20-ish chapters, there are suddenly different causes of her death on each reincarnation (stabbed by a sword, died from dark magic experimentation, etc.) And guess what? On chapter 40 something, it was narrated that the FL died from poison in all of her reincarnations. Did the author forget or was it simply a mistranslation? What the hell is going on?!

• Reading this novel, you have to let go of your logical reasoning because how tf does a newborn baby, not even 1-year-old yet, get to use mana and a Shadow Step technique?? Even with the excuse of this novel having a fantasy genre, and Shekina being the MC and having plot armor... it's just too much.

• There are quite a lot of mistakes in translations (misspellings, wrong names, incorrect grammar, confusing sentences that don't make sense & wrong terms). For ex: War of Celestial Horses... 🙃 Are you freakin kidding me??!

• Predictable ending

• Characters are somewhat fleshed-out but if I have to be completely honest, they're not memorable — even the MC. Like I'll remember them while reading the novel but I'll probably forget them once I stopped and moved on. They don't really leave much of an impression cause I've read the same personalities, traits, characteristics & dynamics in other novels' characters. They're generic.

• Yuriel

Honestly, I had an expectation that the FL will be an anti-hero cause she was actively pursuing the ruined ending (Demon Lord killing the Hero). But just by seeing the cover and with her actions towards the Hero, it's pretty damn obvious that won't happen cause the Hero is still the ML and what happens to ML? Of course, he won't die lmao. Anyway, if you have nothing else to read and you're in the mood for a cliché, this novel is still good for a pass time. Btw, if you're looking for a fluff childcare story, this isn't for you.
