It's not totally unreadable, and some parts are pretty fun... but there are just so many plot holes, and the MC basically feels like a virg*n JP MC and definitely not like a protagonist-hunting type.

The plot holes exist pretty much everywhere in this story. They can generally be ignored when you shut your brain off and enjoy it, but then some incredibly s*upid sh*t happens which overwhelms that ability.

Even with that, it still felt overall worth reading for a while. The MC is becoming more and more like a loser... more>> JP type though, despite having slept with at least one woman (one explicitly stated, another where I assumed they had until he shows himself as totally brainless later...).

Despite saying that he is willing to do whatever for his goal, he ends up not harming a single innocent. He takes a ton of risk to help some randos, and does lots of other really s*upid stuff. For example: literally a chapter after saying he's going to hide his abilities to avoid attention, he shows off in front of a large group of people including cameras that he knows are streaming to at least government.

He's incredibly inconsistent when it comes to women as well. He sleeps with someone he doesn't really know without much hesitation, but generally acts like he's never seen a woman before. An example of this BS that made me give up reading more:

a woman leaves her great life as ruler of a world to follow him, constantly risking her life just for a chance to see him again. She then kisses him, hugs him often, etc. She even crawls onto the floor to sleep with him when he tries to give her his bed. Soon after, when guys are talking about how hot she is he says there's nothing between them... and is even shocked when he finds out she said they were dating??? He thinks that's just a random excuse to get guys to stop hitting on her.

Overall, the start is probably worth reading if you're bored. It definitely goes downhill from there though, so don't expect consistency or good writing quality. <<less

Took me a good 2 weeks to read this novel.

Overall, it has a very unique concept, relatable MC, good storytelling,...

And haven't I mentioned, a bunch of plot twists and unexpected developments

Apart from the slightly underwhelming ending (which definitely needs a sequence), I really enjoyed the read and would absolutely recommend this to anyone.

*side notes: maybe the author will release some new extra chapters in the future because there's so much material left. (?) (I'll make sure to check occasionally)

I found it quite good although I think during the latter half it did get a bit worse. Novel itself feels like a Toika style Korean novel and shares it's pros and cons where the start is good where character is gradually built up while the end feels like author is speedrunning the MC's harem and godlike powers.

Overall I'd say it's a solid entry in the genre so if you like those types of novels you'll probably enjoy it. On the other hand if not a fan of the genre... more>> you'll probably find it repetitive when MC constantly travels to a new world, kills the protagonist and then moves on to his next world half a dozen chapters later. <<less

For the most part, this is actually a pretty fun novel to read. It was really good right until towards the last 15 chapters. Not sure if the writer got bored of writing the story or if it wasn't popular, but have the feeling that the ending was sort of rushed. A pity also because the payoff (ending) is short and somewhat meh as well (kind of like A Returner's Magic should be special). If only the author could have put in more effort to write the ending and epilogue,... more>> it would have felt much more satisfying to the readers. Could have been a 4 stars or 5 stars novel but marred by its rushed ending and mediocre epilogue. Final rating: 3 stars <<less

  1. I usually get bored quickly, but this Novel really hits the spot. It continues to be interesting, and I like that it has different stories in one Novel. I also want to compliment the author for not doing the usual "monster fights, "... Like man... A lot of novels have battles with monsters in detail which is really dull for me.

    The author does their best to make it enjoyable. It also triggers a never-ending curiosity every time an arc finishes.

First and Foremost thanks to Translator "ASTA" as above some reviews says that MC is sharing OP skilss and influence of magic and teaching numerous skills and the nature of MC personality and whatever he is doing that kind of opinion I also agree that somehow this novel makes less interesting but Why I give 5 star despite that? Because whenever MC sends to another world to kill protagonist it's deserve well 5 star it is truly my favourite and one and only novel from Korea it is more interesting... more>> than " Solo Leveling" if you had not taken this novel when MC is on earth that's whole lot thing like making guild, teaching magic and numerous skills from other world that's thing I don't like. When on another world for hunting protagonist it becomes interesting because of world structure, strategy to kill Protagonist, many mystery, uses of many physics concepts and suspence with thriller....... from my advice if you like earth part you can read but Another World but is must read and it is less related to earth part so you don't have to worry about missing something important if you don't read. First start then say. This is one my favourite novel which thrills me whenever I read chapter for hunting protagonist. <<less

I kinda enjoyed this novel. The story flow naturally and I praise the unique viewpoint that have been served. It is matured and keep gaining my interest, albeit the simple diction. I always enjoy bright and cunning characters, which almost always worked hard.
I like how the protagonist displayed withered by age, but reliable in the same time. How he humanly described his worries and with that girls flocked around him naturally but still choose none.

Yea there's some incongruence happened here and there but in a whole, a good one to be taken some consideration.

it is quite well written.

This story is a actually a pretty good one. Admittingly, there are some parts that are slow and kinda boring but the action is actually good.

The MC isn't OP but he makes up for it with his smarts and strategies. He also doesn't always kills coldly but he does interact with the people of the different worlds besides the protagonists.

Some of the people (specifically the girls) of some of the different worlds tries to follow after him to other worlds. One of them (from a magic harem world) actually does manage to find him and travel to some worlds after him for awhile.

I really like that the MC mu*ders protagonists of different worlds that are very generic and common like Harem protagonists, OP protagonists, and so on. Overall, its a good story. Its not perfect but its really good. <<less

Ill put 4 star cause I like it but no cap it gets like boring sometimes and I just don't care about much of what is going in the story (side characters/villains/lovers).

Some of the hunts are fun and some of them make me just go meh (not like boring) but overall just give it a try.

Okay so the MC can travel to other world, kill the protagonist and get reward.

The MC here is just like other korean MC, he is D E N S E, the romance so far is nonexistent for now in chapter 50+.

For the characters personality, the superhumans with high ranking or something are just s*upid. There is discrimination between normal ordinary human and superhuman.

... more>> The story pace is good so far, the characters are decent enough and the world building is decent for me at least.

But here it is something that I don't quite understand.

. The power scaling in this novel.

Like how can hunter increase their rank? The MC still stay at F even though he's stronger thatn E rank. Well maybe some inside manipulation.

The world hopping concept if very unique and makes for some other flaws of the novel. The story's pace and plot is also well managed. The whole concept of a protagonist and cliches is also nicely done, even though its ironic because the MC is the main protagonist of the story. Overall, it's a good read if you have nothing else to read.

One of the big flaws of the novel is that the MC is always weak. Even after getting sword and magic hes still using his gun halfway through... more>> the story. I dont understand why he never uses all the skills he gets from hunting. But I guess this is fine because the all the fights are skipped through and the story is more about progressing the plot. <<less

The story is interesting, though the main reason it is three stars to me is the perspective writing.

I don't know if it is the author or translators or what doing it; but the first person then third person is getting ridiculous. It is like, just make up your damn mind about which perspective you want to write from. They go from third person with the supporting characters, which I guess can be understandable. Then they go to third person with lead. Then all of a... more>> sudden they go with first person with the lead. Like seriously, that type of immersion is just killing it and is a large pet peeve of mind in narration. Settle on one damn perspective writing and be done with it. <<less

the work is very good giving the chronicle what makes the protagonist go to several worlds being a killer so much the chronicle of the original world well I will not speak much because I do not want the expoiler but read it has up to 300 in the original but the nocture scan takes post the writing version better so this is really bad

For those people who's tired of reading shitty novels with shitty MC would find this enjoyable.

This is like a fanfic where our MC kill other shitty MC from other novels because their not really adding something good to their world but slowly destroying it instead.

How do you kill shitty MC that's being protected by the world (self insert author) that's constantly giving them power up on the first sign of trouble.

You ambush them you, don't give them time to think of what's happening. You eliminate them as fast as possible so it don't turn into a proper fight where they will awaken some bullsh*t power. That's how our MC kill other protagonist.

It's a very well written story, with a very consistent and interesting main character. Some things are predictable as every power or item he receives will almost immediately be useful in the next situation he faces.
I personally enjoy reading this novel very much until chapter 53 where the translation is switched to a different site/translator, it's basically gibberish with how literal it was translated with little to no editing of the sentence structures basically the same as machine translation with a slight polish. Even the previous translator talked about it in the novel's forum thread. If you don't mind the centini quality check out jpmtl. Com the machine-translated version of this novel is there with more chapters.

The idea of the MC killing protagonists is really interesting and unique but the execution could have been better.

First of all you need to have read a ton of novels and a variety of genres or you will be completly lost. For example I have read 100+ web novels including quiet a few Chinese cultivation ones and the author still completly lost me when he started talking about murim (I have never even heard that word before apparently it refers to the cultivation genre). I didn't know any of the... more>> words he used and half the time I had to guess what's going on. Other than that it's really interesting to see all kinds of generes brought up in this story.

Watching the MC hunt protagonists while trying to twist the stories and exploit clichés is a lot of fun to read, but sometimes it feels like MC could just insta kill them but he won't because of reasons.

In general Fight scenes are very short because MC will have planned everything before which is fine but I kinda missed the usual final fight you often see.

The characters are really lovable I just cant get enough of Aracelli and Taylor.

The origin of MCs system is properly explained which is always important for me and MC has a clear goal he is working towards to.

The whole protagonists/ will of the world system is never clearly explained but it kinda seems like MC knows what's going on while we are left in the dark which is frustrating.

The MCs behavior is really frustrating and does not make any sense. For example he has to fight a guy on earth in 6 months so what does he do? He trains on earth for 6 months with little progress instead of doing what the title says and hunting protagonists to get stronger. He just spends too much time on earth in general in my opinion.

The romance is not much of anything. (I don't mind it but would have liked a clear answer from mc)

of cause everyone loves MC but MC wont give them an answer cause he might die trying to save his friend from hell gate. So the story ends with him disappearing after hell gate and they might or might not meet again.

first time loop is with the school and trial tower is complete nonsense because MC can only hunt the ghosts when maela or whatever wrote the diary but she only writes the diary cause MC doesnt die against the ghost and continues hunting after. 2nd time travel with the scifi protagonist MC cant kill him because of paradox but after 2 year time travel its somehow fine to kill them.

Except for the cringe ones like VS the cliche protagonist, or that one protagonist that subverts everyone's common sense with his, etc. But this arcs were understandable kinda, since they are 'tropes' of protagonists that needs to be explored for this novel.

This story had a lot of potential to be explored, but it still tried to finish it in a pretty low 252 chapters, which is disappointing, as it could have expanded more.

The ending was rushed, not gonna lie. It seems like the author was just pandering and throwing whatever to finish the novel but he tried to finish the novel which is decent at least. Would have liked it better if some After Stories were done after the epilogue.

Overall great work by the author despite the rushed ending. Solid 4/5 rating, maybe 4.3-ish. Give it a try. <<less
