Novel is 100% Not Recommended to Read.

ML is a weirdo rapist scumbag, MC is an Airheaded moronic violent woman, and the supporting characters are complete fools who can’t manage to handle anything.

Turns out ML set up this whole thing so he could r*pe the MC who lost her memories until she remembers him or just for ML’s own personal enjoyment. MC travels in the scumbag ML’s little world until she finally learns a bit of her past. The rest of the novel is just MC figuring out “wow ML knew everything and didn’t tell me because he’s scum. We should have sex! He is so good at it.”

I can’t possibly fathom the author’s intent with this scenario, except of course to make the story more sexy, which it didn’t.

The ML is t r a s h, the MC is a damsel in distress most of the story (bloody empress? More like weakling woman who is constantly plowed by ML or acting tough and never doing anything.), and supposedly from the early premise all of this happened because the useless ML didn’t watch over the MC at all and got played by scumbag immortals.

Finally, the title of this novel is a shameful lie. ML is barely paranoid. In fact the only guy he’s jealous over is someone he could reasonably be jealous over, her childhood friend. There’s barely any paranoia. It’s like titling your story: My Yandere boyfriend and the most Yandere thing he does is say “I’ll chop you if you do bad stuff” then just say that like 100x in the novel. That’s what happens here. ML goes “You like Shen scrub” and that’s it. Garbage.

-900Tril/10 worthless. Romance done so poorly, the ML has zero charisma, and the MC is practically begging for rescue a lot even if the author tries their best to make it seem like she was a tough person (in her past).

Sidenote: So much described on-screen and off-screen s*x, so little actual sexiness in the novel. <<less

More of a 2.5, and I don't really recommend unless you're very bored and well-versed in xianxia romance. Towards the end it's hard to keep up with what's going on, and it doesn't have a satisfactory conclusion, it just kind of cuts off once the crisis is finally solved, but it is a happy ending. The other reviewer also makes some good points about how foolish the side characters are. I found it annoying because it's played for jokes, and you just get tired of it after a while.
