The leading male character became crippled and turned evil. He suffered mutual torment, mistreatment and hatred with the new female protagonist, who also lost her chance at love and career.

The lovelorn supporting male character was forced to live like a widower for the rest of his life after being manipulated into marriage by someone with a rich family background, even still he harbored feelings for someone else’s wife.

I see so many hypocrites calling on FL cause she abandoned QH. Did you read the story?
She just woke up from being dead, saw her parents made fortune of her death, was unloved for 10years and was ridiculed all her life because of the very same man who injured his legs. Yes the transmigrated girl contributed to her demise but that man not believing her was the start of her suffering. Her reputation went downhill cause of his accusations.

I applaud all of you saints who think that even after seeing him, he looks at her with disgust, and still ask her to save him? Even angels would be ashamed of all you self righteous people. Lol.
Sorry though, she’s clearly only human. She can have her revenge cause SHE DOESN’T OWE HIM ANYTHING.

Good for all of you if you think her as vile but for me, Id do the same and wont feel anything about it. They already owe her her life, being dead or alive, she has nothing to do with QH or LR. Nada.

I even skipped reading this because of those spoilers. Go read some fairytales if you think she’s cruel... but even those tales killed most of their villains. And they are meant to be for children. So for those looking for reason to read, ignore those comments about FL’s morals on the first chaps.

Fiction or reality, forgiveness aren’t easily obtained, and remember, HE DIDNT EVEN ASK FOR HER HELP.

This story has a very complicated backstory and a questionable FL.

Spoiler

It involves several lifetimes and several reborn characters, to figure it all out you can read czeihne's review, but then all the thrill of watching a complicated chess game is gone.

I dropped it fairly quickly, because the FL, although she aspires to be a doctor, had to pass the ethics test at the beginning of yhe novel and she failed it.

There were two simultaneously injured guys not far from each other. One had a badly injured bleeding leg with broken bones and another was bitten by a snake.

In her first life, the FL, a passerby, a good Samaritan, saved the broken leg guy who was by then unconscious, he never saw her saving him. The other one was later found dead. In her previous life, the broken leg guy never believed that she was his savior and hated her thinking that she wanted someone else's credit for saving him.

In this life, she knows about existence of the other guy who will die poisoned if not helped immediately, so she leaves the broken leg guy and saves the other guy. She never came back and she never called for help for the broken leg guy. He was found many hours later, at night, and his leg by then was beyond saving. He became a crooked person, a miserable crippled man after that.

Doctors, or even regular normal people, don't do that. Injured people need help, regardless of feelings, especially if all you need to do is to call others for help to transport a grown man to the hospital. Feelings are just feelings, they come and go. Lives and good health are precious. You should not punish people for feelings they had in their past life (!!!) based on misinformation by ignoring them when they are in such distress just to make a point that they were misinformed, lied to. That is both mean and shallow, to victimize a victim! I lost interest in such an FL or such an author.

I just started reading it.

Original story in the book.

1st life - Orig story in the novel
FR martied QH. NY did not marry any one bcoz of her. There' s no MX he died on the same day FR saved QH.

2nd life- what happened when
LR appeared as transmigrator from modern era. LR married QH. FR married NY. MX died same day QH was saved.

3rd life- it is the current story line where QH, FR and NY all have memories of past life

Spoiler

LR transmigrated, stole her face cream recipe, stole her husband, schemes against her to be outcast by others, rumors and for her to maary NY in a loveless marriage where FR died.

In her previous life,

She was an educated youth who happened to save the Orig. Male Lead, QH

Qi Han - he fell injured his leg, MC was able to save him on time. However the credits were stolen by transmigrator FL Liu Rong.

What's different here is, QH and NY as well as Her, Fang Ry, they all got memories of the past.

NY after her death was full of regrets and now after rebirth wanted to make things right but FR no longer wanted to have anything to do with him.

FR and MX fell in love. LR gave birth to son, QH was living together with LR and got pregnant, did everything to guve birth eary to take the college entrance exam. Was saved by FR during child delivery.

MX went to war, FR went to city to study. Story started to shift to Family hurdles

Eventually married MX and had a daughter.

I'll update this as I read more chapters

**
I've read the comment upstairs. I van understand her grief, her thirtst for revenge as everything was stolen from her, her life , things that were supposed to be hers, were robbed by Liu Rong.

Was it wrong for her to hate QH, she saved him but was criticized by him for scheming, trying to rob credits, trying to cling to him due to his military achievements? NO, for me that's understandable

Was it wrong for her to, avoid NY and refuse his feelings?

NO, she lived 10 years, alone and wasted her life.

It was never explained why MX did not ask where the letter predicting what may happened during the war, or maybe due to the part where he was there when NY and FR were talking and overheard about the reborn part.

Novel not recommended to read.

MC is a resentful reborn girl who is immediately given unbeatable plot armor and ridiculous advantages.

Her first actions on being reborn is to not save a guy she dislikes and then somehow save the super handsome beautiful most amazing guy ever.

From there everything is just easy smooth sailing for her and all the scum take up time being mentioned as living bad lives.

There’s really not much to read for and no suspense of any sort. Novel reads like author wish fulfillment.

It is a novel one can read if you want a typical reborn FL story.

Spoiler

Her reputation and dignity was tarnished by the oriML and she was married to a man who didn't even consider her as wife even if she tried to treat him sincerely he literally broke her last line of dignity.

I would too find it hard to save someone who would blame me in future for saving him and at every possible scenerio have me treat as sh*t he had it coming probably and he didn't lose his life so that's fair price for what oriML did and the ori ML at that point is reborn so it does give the reader the leeway to forgive FL for not saving a patient. And her life became very hard imagine working hard and somebody steals the fruit of your labour so I would say everyone got what they deserved.

I was stumped thinking why the FL was questionable. Why would I think that? Because a review states that the FL as a regular person or even someone aspiring as a doctor should have saved or even asked for help for the OGML. Why? So she can be disparaged, hated on, and rebuked like she was in her last life? She was mid-rebirth with all of the emotions after seeing how she ended up because of the fake FL. Why should she bother?

MTL Completed, readability 80%.

MC was not overly vengeful like other reviewer stated, she's simply human who had feelings. The man that she left behind was only had his for injured, he won't die even if she left him. While the man she helped in her new life would died if she didn't help him, just like in the previous life.

Her being full of hatred in her previous life but still not actively looking for revenge was already very kindhearted. Asked yourself if you're on her shoes, could you do the... more>> same? <<less

3.5 stars

The author feels like an amateur writer. The plot just moves like it's a bulletpoint list. Events happen in succession without much foreboding or any preparation for the next scene. The antagonists are quite dumb but they are very confident in themselves. From start to finish, there are no capable antagonists. The MC and ML are just perfect people. If you're looking into reading a Mary Sue character, then she fits the bill. The romance is cute when they were still in the countryside. The romance became boring... more>> after they married in the city, though. Overall, it was still a fun read despite its shortcomings. <<less

This story starts off really great. It has a bit of a unique twist with three regressors and one transmigrator. The regressors all share memories of the previous timeline but the transmigrator only knows the book she read. The twist being that the story she knows is not the life the other three have led.

It has the potential do something awesome but it just... plays out like a slice of life with very few problems that are all incredibly easy to solve. There is no suspense or worry, just events... more>> that are solved in a chapter or two.

Aaaaand then it brings in a spy story because... why not?

Spoiler

So the three regressors are the MC (Fang Ru), her husband from the previous life (Ning Yuheng), and her husband from the first life (Qi Han). Yes, three lives (I'll get to that).

The transmigrator is Liu Rong who only has knowledge of the world as if it was from a book. Which is the "First" life.

Now the fun part with this is that MC happily married Qi Han in the first life after bonding over her care for him while he was injured. Only Liu Rong was aware of that life (Qi Han does dream of it but it only showcases the warmth he had from the MC and did not spiral him into falling in love) so the other three believe that this is their second life.

In the second life, Liu Rong transmigrated in and usurped the MC's purpose in the world so that she could become the "main female lead" (she was really hung up on everything being from a novel) and arranged for the MC to marry Ning Yuheng. For this entire life Liu Rong led Ning Yuheng on and prevented him from developing real feelings for the MC. To the point that when Ning Yuheng realized, it was already too late and the MC just wanted a divorce (eventually wasting away and dying). Liu Rong also cuckolded Qi Han who she got to marry.

The third life is only a regression for the three (MC, Ning Yuheng and Qi Han), otherwise, it's just like the first time for Liu Rong to transmigrate in. The whole plot has changed from what she knows because the three have become so jaded by their experiences (especially Qi Han after he chases the MC away from him when he was injured because he was waiting for Liu Rong who never showed).

There is so much potential there but it just... peters out. Liu Rong doesn't get her happy ending, of course, but other than Ning Yuheng helping heal the MC's brother and the ML with his extra knowledge, there really isn't much done with their knowledge. Even Qi Han doesn't do anything despite alternating between wanting to punish Liu Rong and still loving her.

[collapse]

The MC, Fang Ru, is a regressor who possesses an eidetic memory and is said to be the most beautiful woman (it's said a lot). She wakes after her death to discover she is back ten years before. Right from the beginning, she chooses not to be the same kind of woman as before. Even going out of her way to be more fierce and stops tolerating the cruelty from others (including her mother). She rescues the ML but is guarded against him due to her experience in the past life.

The ML, Meng Xing, has no memories of any of the previous lives as he always died when Qi Han was rescued. This time, he is rescued by the MC and quickly becomes smitten with her (while there is some wariness at first, it quickly passes and he begins to find her interesting as well as the hero worship for saving his life). He manipulates his way into being her boyfriend before he suddenly has to go away to join the military. Also, his family life sucks and there are some hints at terrible things but it's never really explained.

Spoiler

So his dad had a mistress (or first love, it's referred to as both) while the ML's mother was sick. This basically hastened her end and the dad quickly remarried this other woman. This other woman can't compare at all to the ML's mother in looks, talent or background (she was climbing into the Meng family).

However, it's mildly implied that she might have directly caused the ML's mother's death. It's also implied that she might be cheating on the ML's father but that's never really elaborated on beyond a mention of the two divorcing at the end of the story.

[collapse]

We get to read the story as the Transmigrator literally comes up with the most braindead plots to manipulate people and to try for revenge against the MC. Only for the MC to successfully escape it all because she's either too pretty, too smart, too nice or other people are involved. This also happens really, really fast. Even the two years the MC is away at college is quickly raced through. We're also introduced into a lot information that isn't important, things are mentioned but never explained and named characters that are just there to pad out how Nice the MC is or how distant the ML was.

The story also hits a lot of the cliche plot points for a 70s novel (college, business, etc) but the end result isn't quite as satisfying as other reads. At least it didn't have the stereotypical childhood friend trying to get involved, I suppose.

I did enjoy it but it's probably not something I'll reread. <<less

I think MC wasn't that bad. I also feel that her, full of resentment at the beginning, was quite realistic. She carried her past life trauma and it really affected her in her current life at some points. I also didn't think that it's wrong for her to refuse saving Qi Han lest she got disdained again. Moreover, as the orgML, Qi Han still has his own halo so although he couldn't become a military officer like in his previous life, he still did well in other area.

Spoiler

He would become a successful businessman.

[collapse]

As for Ning Yuheng, I feel complicated about him. He could have a good life with MC in their second life but because Liu Rong's instigation, they had an unhappy marriage. But Ning Yuheng wasn't without fault here so unlike Qi Han, MC hated him the most because the damage he caused and I also feel that he was s*upid because he fell for Liu Rong's white lotus trick.

But gradually, MC changed from a resentful girl to a kind and gentle girl like in the past because she met many warm-hearted people, including ML. She also forgave Ning Yuheng because he helped her with her brother and ML's health. And unlike in the beginning where she refused to save Qi Han because of personal revenge, after she truly became a doctor, she didn't act according to her emotional judgment anymore.

Spoiler

It's proved by how she still save Liu Rong's life when she had a difficult childbirth although she had a personal grudge towards Liu Rong.

[collapse]

Although I personally think that this story was quite okay, I still feel disappointed by the lack of romance in this novel.

Spoiler

MC and ML barely got together when he went to war for 2 years. She interacted more with his best friend rather than ML himself. We only got their lovey dovey moment after their marriage near the end of the story.

[collapse]

Aside from that, I also think that this story wasn't intriguing enough but still not as boring as many other novels that I've read so far so I still give it 4 stars <<less

It's an ok story. When I started reading I had some expectations that weren't met. The potential of the story is great it's just it wasn't delivered properly. It was alright for the FL to be resentful but it feels like the intricacies between og male lead, og 2nd male lead and female lead weren't fully explained or explored. The romance was good though sparse

The FL and ML are a pair of Mary Sue and Gary Stu. The writer specially piled on the virtues on the FL, it got so ridiculous it was funny! 🤭 The setting of the story was supposed to be in the 70s, China, but the writer did not really show the hardship and poverty of the times. The characters in the story while in the village were moving around with ease. They were able to get supplies and food without any difficulties, which is very different from several other stories... more>> I’ve read that were set in the 60s and 70s. It’s like writer forgot the setting of his/her story.

i’m giving it a three star rating since I wasn’t impressed, but I wasn’t annoyed either. It’s good enough if you have nothing else to read. <<less
