A really good romance series. The characters behave like normal people and with some rather difficult times that they support each other with. The MC fortunately doesn't behave like every other Japanese protagonist where they are afraid to interact with a popular girl for some irrational reason. FMC is also very likeable, and they make a good couple.
honestly just reading all the damn pathetic Japanese MC makes this novel in itself a good read. Having just 80 chapters it's pretty short and sweet. Some plot threads are left hanging especially about the relationships of the side characters, but it didn't bother me too much.
in all solid 4.5/5.
Read it if you want a good high school romance without all the bullshit.

Off to a good start. The premise says MC is looked down upon due to comparison to another guy with the same name at school, but the story suggest it is because he prioritize his part-time job and hang out with working adults instead of high school peers behind the scene.

MC is actually a athletic, hard working productive human. No wishy-washy loner behavior making him and FMC look like a great match instead of forced interaction like other romcom series. FMC is also very likeable and without over the top... more>> cliches.

The story:

It started simply, but hey, sometimes simple is best, the tale old as time, a nice heartwarming romance story, being honest, they setting is interesting enough to keep you entertained, and characters have enough depht to sell it, it does good at following and breaking anime tropes, and personally I cried a little at the end of v1, higly recomend, but be prepare for the feels under the floof, a slow burn, not the slowest, but a nice pacing.

Interesting character, the MC and the Female lead are both deep and entertaining, quite honest, a refreshing MC who has been beaten by fate enough, but has learned and manage throught, and Chinatsu, the female lead, is qutie the character too, nice and interesting on herself, her family dinamic has posibility to get much better. (Personally, her mother is all us as we read the story, death to the father)

I can only hope and wait to see what this series evolves too, but im hapy to see the direction it has now, and im hoping for more chapters <<less
