Our MC (Sang Rou) was kidnapped by our ML (Qin Zheng) mistakenly. He's washed his hands of the kidnapping business but due to his friend's persuasion, he does it one last time. He was actually intending to capture another girl from the sanatorium, but due to some schemes MC took her place instead. ML basically falls in love at first sight (though he doesn't realize it then), and after he realizes no one seems to care about her after he's sent her back, he brings her home with him. Our ML actually is the owner of a pretty popular internet cafe.

As of the latest chapters, ML's friend decides to team up with the person who originally asked them to kidnap the girl in order to kidnap the dad of that girl. She tells our MC and ML that MC's family is looking for her in order to marry her off to some uncle, since MC's family's company seems to be going under.

Sang Rou is initially cold and unemotional. She seems to be innocent and unknowing of what is going on, but in truth she just doesn't care where she goes because she's used to being moved around. Her family abandoned her at the sanatorium from a young age (like 5ish?) so it's basically all she's ever known. She slowly shows more emotion as she learns to depend on and trust our ML. She also isn't as shy about s*xual stuff as you might expect.

Qin Zheng is described as handsome but intimidating and rough. He has never been interested in any woman before MC. He only shows his gentle side to our MC. MC calls him a love brain and it's 100% accurate you love to see it

• • Smut is pretty much consensual!!! When MC says something hurts or doesn't feel good, ML will either stop or try a different method. I say pretty much bc MC is underage and can't technically consent so

• • The relationship between MC and ML is so good ahhh
    like even if it develops fast, it doesn't feel unbelievable. Their pace feels natural to them, and I love their dynamic. You can really feel ML's love and care for her in a lot of the little things. MC also slowly opens up and cares for ML. It doesn't feel like a one-sided relationship, and I want to keep reading to see how their relationship develops

• • There is an over-arching plot that I'm interested in, though it's definitely secondary to the relationship between the two. How are they going to deal with MC's family? How is the kidnapping of the other girl going to resolve, and will it have any effect on our main couple? But make no mistake the plot is light and just there as extra flavour to their relationship

• • MC is 16 and ML is like 25 (?). It doesn't bother me that much bc I'm basically used to it, but it might bother some. ML initally promises no s*xual stuff until she's 18 but it's a smut story so that quickly goes out the window LOL. He revises his promise to have no penetrative s*x until she's 18, so we'll see if he can uphold that

• • Plot premise is ridiculous. Like which kidnapper is going to treat their victim so well??? Is there no investigation from the police, at least surface level?? I don't care too much about this since, again, it's a smut story, but it might bother some

... he is a little ruthless in the beginning, but through the story, we can see that he is actually a giant teddy bear, that spoils and pamper female lead. He’s very attentive and caring, despite his appearance of gangster, like he even described himself. It’s nothing like those stories, which the man r*pes the woman in the first time they sleep together.

Besides, I really like stories which the male lead is older than female lead. I don’t know, it gives me a sense that female leads can feel more secure. But for some readers this can be uncomfortable, especially because female lead is a minor and is ten years younger, she is sixteen years old and he is twenty six. But if you really think about it, in some countries like USA, legally speaking, minors of 16 can marry with authorization of the parents.

I don’t know if I liked her so much. She’s too cold and distant, and can have a scary personality, threatening her enemies with mu*der intent, but that is still acceptable, considering that she was practically raised in the mental institution without any love, since she was discarded by her rich family.

What really annoyed me about her, is that she constantly behaved like a very demanding spoiled girl. Sometimes, seeming like an inconsiderate girl, especially when the male lead always treated her really well. I think she could act more grateful, specially because she grew up in a cold environment without love, while male lead tried really hard to offer her a cozy home full of love.

ML in the beginning talks about FL being a minor and being a little grossed out with himself for being turned on by a minor.

I was hoping she was just baby-faced, but she's 16, and STAYS 16 FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE STORY. I DIDN'T FINISH, SO I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF SHE EVER TURNS 18. And even if she DID turn 18, there's the whole issue of ML still performing s*xual acts with FL WHILE SHE'S STILL 16.

ML says he'll "wait" for FL to turn 18 to "have s*x, " but he means full p in v specifically; oral, hands, and "just the tip" are all fair game and "don't count" (except this all sounds like grooming, my guy)
