the storyline seems to have potential but the translation traumatized me.

the translation is okayish in between but then suddenly you're on your own, find out who is the person that they're talking about. Also, they use different spellings for fl's name in every chp. Even in the same chp, her name's spelling changes just after a few lines.

it's really confusing, I didn't have the heart to read it after chp 7. I hope it gets picked up by a better translating team.

Edit (07/12/2024) : This seems to have been picked up by a new translator [or the translator has corrected the previously mentioned issues]. Eleven chapters in, the Salmon Latte translation by Viri is very readable and the story has good potential.

Original review: The story has potential but the translation (viiri) is way too hard to follow. The pronouns are constantly mixed up and the spelling of the main character's name changes every single time it comes up – I'm not exaggerating.

It has a "The Way to Protect the Female... more>> Lead's Older Brother" (aka "Roxana") vibe so I'd love to give this another try if it gets a better translation. <<less

I am curious about how the MC fits into the story she's been transmigrated to. It does have "The Way to Protect the Female Lead's Older Brother" (aka "Roxana") vibe, but lacking special abilities, rated PG as far as suggestive sparks 🔥 and imagination can go. The MC is a kindhearted, nice person trying to solve the mystery of her role or way to survive her situation. Of course, it's to get on the ML's good side. The story has a good pace and I am patiently awaiting the rest... more>> of the chapters.

The MC is a daughter in a dark, dysfunctional family with hardly any shared affection between the family members. However, MC does not recall there was ever such a character in the novel she read. She chooses to befriend the ML to survive. She has no cheat skills and must rely on building up allies. The mystery of figuring out her identity and history moves the story forward.

Simple.

I think it's the one word to describe about this novel from my opinion.

The plot is simple, the conflict is simple. No extra drama and rollercoaster of emotions... Might be suitable if you're looking for a light read. Can't say I love this novel to the point of being obsessed with the novel, but I think this is still an enjoyable simple read for me.

Great translations from the beginning to the end! Thank you so much for the author and translation team for completing this novel~

I had a great time reading this novel. The Coral Boutique translation is excellent.

I agree with another reviewer that this is a simple novel in terms of plotline and I expect that from a novel this length when the focus is emotional. The unravelling of the original body's past was interesting and I really liked MC's relationship with her older brother.

The story itself is decent. The translation is pretty good.

The story has an interesting plot at the beginning of the story, but the quality kind of drops at the end.

I liked how the author wrote the downfall of the father, but it felt like the Crown Prince died too easily (the explication was kind of rushed to my liking).

Overall, it's a short, simple story that is perfect if you are looking for something to read that isn't too difficult or profound.

1. Plot of the novel🤔

Honestly I read it lightheartedly to pass time and distract myself. It's a little R15. Though it's not written. There are a few intimate scenes but not specific descriptions but enough to make you blush or feel heat. They are a cute couple as of now. I like their relationship. It's healthy, even though ML has an unhealthy mindset, bcuz of his bg. He had to survive in harsh conditions, etc. The plot has drama, mystery, m0rder case and detective activities elements. It doesn't... more>> get boring, but the author's ability to give characters a deep personality is not good enough. Characters don't have depth and don't feel real. They have interesting back stories though. Also it's a pity the author didn't write them more quality time between ML and fl. That's why the pacing feels fast between them. Even through the rest of the story's pace is fine. Slow enough to enjoy and fast enough to not get bored. The FL is getting boring for me though. She's too ordinary and sometimes dumb.

As of now her younger brother went to punishment for life which was harsher than living in a cell to me. It was cruel. And the ML is stiiiilll in cell... boy get out of thereee!! And even though, she knows he likes her, she likes him... she's like umm... no I can'tbcuz you have a FL and I'm the villain and there are too many obstacles for us. Though I understand her mindset, though then why does she still flirts with him and gets close to him??? Gurlll!?!

2. The problem with website!!!

I was reading the novel. I'm at chapter 86 rn. But it seems there's something wrong with the website, Coral Boutique. When I press the next chapter button, it just jumps too home page, it load very slowly whenever I want to enter a new page or want to open the description or the list of chapters. From new year onward there's no updates on any of my unfinished novels that usually update regularly, and today when I was reading this completed novel, I was thrown back to home page then I suddenly realized the home page hasn't have any changes, any updates or anything since Christmas day. It's the same and I can't access any other part to even find their discord. It was an amazing site with really good ux design. Most of what read was here. I hope they fix it soon. I'll update here if that happens.

Thanks for your excellent translation. I enjoyed reading this novel.
