Oh, I don't know that this manhwa had its novel version but I couldn't open the translation so I would review this based on manhwa version. I'll edit it if I found that the novel and manhwa version had a different storyline.

I think this story was quite good. The beginning of the story was indeed a bit unbearable but it would get better in the next chapters. I love how realistic MC was, for example: how she was traumatized by what happened to her in the beginning of the story... more>> and that trauma made her have a hard time to warm up to ML despite how kind he was to her. It took time for her to be comfortable around ML and it took her another time to fall in love with him.

And ML, he's a yandere who was actually quite fragile and insecure inside. Sometimes, he could be hateful but most of the times, I couldn't hate him and even wanted to hug him. Although he's actually quite possessive because he's afraid of losing MC, he still respected her and didn't confine her even though he desperately wanted to do so. He also changed to be a better person for MC.

He also wanted to change her into a vampire like him but when MC refused him, he didn't force her even though he didn't want to watch her die someday.

The story itself was actually quite simple and the angst was minimal. The conflicts weren't that complicated and it had a happy ending. <<less
