The blood stops. His internal organs regenerate to the state before the injury. The wounds are healed on a cellular level. His complexion returns, and his mana flow normalizes.

All of this happens in a split second. A necromancer, one of the Three Venerables of South Korea, and the strongest monster who lived up to all his notoriety. The Mad Dog, Siwoo.

He has returned.

Kinda typical trope where MC is so powerful they have to contrive plot points where he's not there so everyone they just introduced to the story can start dying so he can show up after they're dead and save the day to look more "cool". You know what's cooler than showing up after everyone else is dead or dying? Actually being there when it happens. Like for real though, bro never leaves the country, how contrived is it that when he does the country's first s rank gate opens? Moment... more>> you start writing in characters just to kill them to establish mc's prestige is the moment you should start losing readers. Plot's overly contrived, I left it at 2 star because I know there are wish fulfillment readers that eat this up. <<less

Ig another necromancer healer version.

Man, wish they don't milk the 'necromancer' troupe too much, but its now oversaturated the webnovel/light novel imo.

Kinda need new type of hype.

... more>> xD

Edit (reaching ch 50.1 atm) : Too much cliche face slapping building, I get it, MC too OP so there are needs some buffer in between "cool" sections, but man, author employ too much to-be-face-slapped randos it bit annoying, at least give them some personality to differentiate them, these poor fellows feels the same with different names only as they mostly appear only for short time. Enjoying it so far, hopeful. I like gate fantasy though. I do think that the OP from the start thing needs to be handled well and a lot aren't willing to go through the trouble. Here we have an OP protag with some roots in a serious time difference that might seed something, but often the plants never get watered.

Seriously short chapters so just be aware.

IF you want excessively wholesome brotherly love this is it, in a gate fantasy package. I quite like it, don't like the shortness of the chapters though, gosh that's killing me!

The premise was really interesting but as of this review, there's only one translated chapter— so I read the MTL.

Overall, the story is enjoyable— MC is more of a healer/spiritualist than a necromancer despite what the synopsis says.

He can suck energy out of people and reconstruct wounded body parts. I have yet to see any corpse-raising or communication with the dead, so I believe it may be a mistranslation.

The pacing is good, a little faster than other novels of the same subgenre.

27 chapters in, there's still no romance, so I'm thinking there probably won't be any, at least not anytime soon.

He meets a girl in the first chapter, but she isn't really portrayed as a love interest. She joins his brother's guild after and they basically don't interact at all after that.

MC is, true to his name, a mad dog. He kills, but never for no reason, talks and acts with the classic KR action MC nonchalance— "I don't care, I'm stronger than you anyway" (if you know, you know) ... but he isn't unfeeling; he does care a lot about his family and disciples.

If you're even moderately interested, you should give it a try. <<less
