Being transported into the world of a novel and reaching its conclusion was exhilarating.

If things had gone according to the original plot, I would have triumphed in the final battle and had a happy ending.

However, I was defeated. And, in a twist of fate, the knight with the crimson eyes and a silver blade, the very one who brought about my downfall, was the one to save me from the brink of death.

“Hey, wait.”
“Do we really have to do this?”
“Give me your hand!”
“I’m not a dog, you know…”
“Hand!”
“….”

My resigned expression said it all.

“Alright.”
“Well done!”

And yet, as she caressed my hair, a tender smile graced my lips.

But once that gentle smile faded, a deep yearning settled in.

“Can we do it now?”

She nodded in response to my fervent crimson gaze. As she approached and sat on the bed, my eyes followed her every movement. Soon, she beckoned.

“Come here.”

Her voice, laden with sweet temptation, resonated deeply within me, sending a chill down my spine. Very discreetly.
