Surprisingly not bad! I got distracted a quarter of the way through and decided to drop it after picking it up again (I want to reread when the TL is further ahead!). But in fact, the novel is definitely underserving of its (current) rating — which is 2.6/5, FYI. I acknowledge that the novel is flawed, but it's still a pretty good read if you enjoy CN Zombie Apocalypse novels (though the focus on this one is the relationship line.)

SUMMARY: The MC, Su Mu, believed that he had been... more>> born 300 years after the zombie outbreak had happened on the Blue Planet. In this life, he had lived with his parents for a short time before becoming orphaned and later ending up as an ability user working to fight against the persistent apocalypse. However, this belief was crushed not long after he transmigrated into a body that looked exactly like his own (except weaker) and had the same name as himself. He persisted in a state of denial for a while, not believing he's the same as the original owner, especially after encountering an ex-boyfriend (the ML) that hated his guts one second and wanted back with him the next.

The MC is very resistant to having anything to do with the ML, since he believed himself to be 100% straight. He also couldn't accept being the same person as the original owner. So they go back and forth like this for a while. With the MC a avoiding the ML whenever he could, and the ML sticking a hot face on a cold ass again and again in order to regain the favor of his BF.

THOUGHTS: I'm not fond of the back and forth between the MC and ML, TBH. Not because it's not interesting, but because it's very repetitive — and thus, very frustrating. The MC's personality is very flaky (not very stable at all) and the author made things worse by giving the ML a —mostly pointless—cultivator background that pretty much forces him to make mistakes and aggravate their relationship again and again. ANYWAY, because of the relationship troubles, I deducted 1 star from my rating directly XD. But, when it comes to other aspects (which are not so detailed in the novel), I still give props to the author. The novel is a little different from most novels using the same apocalypse/survival genre, so it stands out that reason. I would read this novel for the worldbuilding alone! And I shall do so when the TL is further along heheh. (The MTL is fine to read. But I always feel like I'm missing something, which is part of the reason why I quit outside of losing interest after getting distracted.) I'll give an official rating at that time! <<less

Enjoyable so far, looking forward to the development in the relationship.

The worldbuild so far seems intriguing, very zombie apocalypse mixed with a bit of xanxia cultivation-- more focused on developing the powers versus having sword arts or anything, to be clear.

MC woke up before the apocalypse happened to find himself occupying the body of the unknown white moonlight of the most powerful person of said apocalypse... But after they had already broken up. ML still has feelings, so it'll be interesting to see how things develop.

MC cares about the Original's... more>> mother, it's interesting to see that mix with post-apoc practicality <<less

400+ chapters actually one chapter too short 😂, just assume 5 chapters equally 1 chapter in total. I managed to completed read it only 2 nights, imagine how short for one chapter.

I love everything, MC and ML too op but not too overclaim and too annoyed to me. Part that I don't like the most is part MC and inner demon🙄, that part too shallow and bored the most. I mean that part supposed to be excited part just like others part but.. Its ok.
