I really don't understand why so many people only gave this novel one star. Seriously, don't be influenced by the rather low ratings and give it a try. So far, it's an enjoyable read and the translation flows very nicely as well. The characters are interesting, though maybe a little bit stereotype. Our main guy is your usual cold Mr. Perfect, but we see him slowly warming up and caring for Xia Ling.

Xia Ling is quite naive but by no means s*upid and both of them are passionate about voice acting. It's through this mutual interest that they first meet, plus, our female lead takes a huge liking to his voice. If you liked 'Really Really Miss You' by Mo Bao Fei Bao, you'll probably enjoy this one as well. All in all, a somewhat awkward but very sweet love story without much drama (as of now). <<less

I honestly feel bad for the low stars it has. I'm one of those readers where I like to heavily rely on stars before I read something because I don't want to waste my time reading a book I wouldn't like. I decided to read it though because I read a review that said the vibe was similar to "really really missed you" and I ended up quite liking that one.

Yes, this novel doesn't have much plot. It doesn't have the conflict that a story should have. There's no angst, revenge, jealousy. None of those blood boiling factors. While I like a good story with a good plot, this novel is completely devoid of that.

This is purely a feel good and heart warming story about a seemingly detached boy pursuing his love interest. And the rest is history. Yes, there are many plot holes and open ended questions, but like I said, the novel isn't about a mind numbing plot, it's a story of a boy and a girl falling in love with each other.

And yes, as a referrence if u liked "really really miss you" it has a similar feel to it.

You either like this novel or you don't, but please don't drag it down because u didn't. You're detracting readers who like this sort of writing style because of the bad comments.

I feel like this genre captures a specific type of readers because of its mellowness. No twisted plots, no intrigues, just pure love story of how 2people met and fell in love. <<less

It is a light heart read, easily forgettable. The FL is a blank slate, following/stringing along to the beats of the ML. Sometimes it was so annoying. Like, speak up and have some thoughts, woman!

A cute light-hearted story that revolves around 2 youths studying overseas. One of them is a famous voice-actor/handsome little genius. The other is a typical, cute girl, who also happens to dabble in voice acting. Its quite slow, the romance, but the pace is steady. Its one of those 'love at first sight (for no reason lol) ' stories, but its a satisfying read.

I gave up. It was too boring, there was zero tension in the romance, which was understandable because the FL and ML didn't have personalities

To use my car trip analogy, this was a car trip through the flatlands, but there were no towns. Or corn fields, or cows, just mile after mile of prairie

Not my cup of tea, but if you are looking for a sweet, no conflict, laid back story this may be the one for you

I gotta review this. The novel is very satisfying if you are in for a satisfying love with simplicity in it and a short but a story that calms you because there is no complex dramaaaa with s*upid reasons!

Anyway this is a good cup of Summer Tea, I recommend it.

P.S. There are no bed scenes, yo hear me? Yes!!

I have mixed reactions about this story. I've gotten diabetes from their romance, but it's even more unhealthy than the diabetes that I usually enjoy. The ML here is so perfect it's totally unrealistic man. The voice acting stuff was pretty relevant in the beginning but then stopped even being mentioned after they got together. Sigh. Also, can the FL have some more EQ? When the ML was chasing the FL, I was like her roommate (props to her patience, man) and almost gave up on her idiocy. After this,... more>> maybe I'm weird, but I think now I prefer bickering couples. The FL and ML here seem like they'll never get angry/argue with each other. Instead, it'll be all chill and then oh it's your turn to be childish now and ok now you can be childish and I'll pamper you instead. Honestly. Just reading it made me feel like I was third wheeling. Why can't it be this easy to find a good guy in college?? I am also a massive picky foodie, hate makeup, and suck at wearing high heels! Give me a smart, tall, successful man as well!

Side note: It's kind of strange that the stories I've read recently have been focusing on petite curvy girls, bc that usually isn't the Chinese model of beauty. Just something I found interesting. <<less

??? I am honestly a little confused. they fell in love so easily... I guess i've been reading a lot of slow burn lately so this kind of sweet and easy campus romance is from a different world. dropped this because I was really seeking a different kind of novel, but otherwise this is a very sweet, fluffy love story.

I highly appreciate novels like this where readers are just soak with pure sweetness and don't have to dwell over any negative emotions. It's a simple/calm romance and just oddly satisying. Plus the ML is really smooth ah, cheers to ML for successfully luring the MC everytime! Haha.

This is a simple, light, and cute story. Suitable for someone that already fed up with dog-bloody drama.

Don't have conflict, don't have twists, don't have annoying third party, don't have any drama.

This is just a pure romance story about a man pursuing a girl that he interested with. Very relaxing story. So, don't expect any drama in their love. This is their ordinary life. An man fell for a girl. ML did nervous when he is pursuing her, so he isn't omnipotent. And I love that.

Btw, each chapter... more>> is really short!! I mean, really, really short! So this 54 chapter can be read in one sitting with ease mind.

I like the perspective not just told from FL, but also told about how ML's feeling. So we know if ML is nervous lol, even if sometimes FL didn't aware about ML's uneasiness.

They're so cute!! ML is really caring and sweet. While FL is dense protagonist. She didn't aware if ML is pursuing her. Well, she is also cute though.

ML fell for FL even before FL know him in real life. So ML's love for FL is already solidified when he is pursuing her.

When they're already dating, they're so cute!! Ugh, they did throw dog food anywhere. Poor their friends. But actually I want more.. I want their wedding... I wanna read about their child...

The MC is the tpical naive and shy cute girl that has a smooth-sailing life. The dense girl that wont notice anything unless she has a pushover friend that is a factor that brings the MC and ML together. While the ML is the type that does anything so he can satisfy his girl.

The story is plain and sweet, there's no substance in it, just the story of the two of them together. Not quite warming and also not the type that can make me have butterflies in my stomach.

It's... more>> quite bland and the VA part just makes up at least 30% of the story so if you're here for the VA, well, I've got some news for you.

Its easy to forget a novel like this (for me) but it doesn't hurt to try reading it.

While I was reading this I couldn't put it down, but upon reflection, I find it is not without flaws.

The beginning, while the main characters were in the gray area before dating is the real winner of the series. The male lead's pursuit of the female lead, his care, attention and self-doubt are heart warming and compelling to read. After they get together, I found the pacing of the series was thrown off kilter, with only one event (the two leads plus their best friends going on a trip to... more>> Florida) described.

This kind of external-to-the-relationship "drama" driven plot (drama in quotations because there isn't even any of that in this story) isn't difficult to find in this genre, and I feel this story doesn't do the best job. Having said that, the ending is super cute and it's a quick read that is enjoyable. <<less

It's really forgettable novel.

Like there is no plot going on. It just progresses about a normal day and ends. It's simple. Extremely simple. But it's a good read, you can't deny that. There are no big plot holes. And FL is a silly simple girl. ML is also hopelessly in love with her from the 1st time he saw her. And they just meet normally during summer internship and ML pursues her normally in college and they start dating NORMALLY.

It's a TOTALLY NORMAL short read.

Their romance is compared to tea by the author.

Just like drinking a cup of white tea, there's no overwhelming bursts of flavours, just a light and aromatic aftertaste that lingers in your mouth for a Long time.

... more>> For some ppl, white tea might be too bland and unexciting but nevertheless a warm sip of tea is still very comforting— that was how I felt when I read this story.

Its a pleasant short read, but don't expect the Voice Acting element to take center stage like in MBFB's "Really, Really Miss You". <<less

If your searching for a romance book with a lot of drama and crying, then this is not for you. Drama here is practically not existent. Full of Fluff and just a light hearted story about two people falling in love.

So sweet it gave me diabetes.. Classic story about fan who became her idol's wife.. MC is hard working and did not focus wholly on chasing ML, in contrast it's ML, the idol, who was chasing her. Feeling insecure, lost, and unsure at his advance, afraid of scaring the white little bunny to distance herself from him. Cute, sweet and funny. Epilogue would be appreciated!

Very enjoyable and light-hearted.

There's no drama, only lots and lots of fluff, and although it's very slice-of-life-esque, there's a basic plotline outlined enough to drive the story forward. Both lead characters were very loveable, and although there wasn't a lot of character development as there are in other novels, at the same time I feel like it was because the characters didn't change all that much, because they changed gradually and subtly that the story turned out well. Tbis one is light, short, and sweet. Nothing too much, its a simple love story but worth to read.

I love how this story is a love story thay we all had. Bring back a lots of memories of our love's life. Simple, but meaningful. I will give it 5 star. Sometimes, a story doesnt had to be so grandeous to get 5 star, sometimes because its simplicity, it worth 5 star
