Oh my, it was soooo gooood!!!

It definitely deserves the tag "mature." It's cruel, violent, and harsh. And very realistic, despite being a fantasy. This is not a fluff story. But it's very entertaining and a real page turner. Here, the ML is not your typical ML - there are valid reasons why many, while reading, may end up hating him. He's a red red flag (but not so much because of how he is towards the MC, though). But he is very honest to himself. And I liked it and respected it a lot.

Ok, at some potlint, he was quite harsh even towards the MC, but there were reasons, ok? And he acknowledged his wrongdoings and made a good decision.

I can understand why someone might not like this story, but I disagree. It was a hidden gem amongst so many typical and lookalike boring stories.

Well, there are only a few chapters translated, but this novel already has my heart. So far, it is quite similar to "Paper Flower" in many ways.

If you don't have a problem with any of the tags, you can read this without fear of being happy.

He is a boy who grew up isolated on a mountain. Don't expect much civility or appropriateness from him. As someone who grew up alone and made it his primary goal to not starve to death every day, it's sensible that the author created him so naive.

I hope he can have some development throughout the book (not just because of fear of ML), but if he doesn't it's okay because he's already cute the way he is anyway.

About ML: He is like: 🥶

He's the cold on the outside and cold on the inside type. He looks like an even crueler version of HY. There is not a single drop of compassion in this man.

So far, the only thing he seems to value a lot are his martial arts. Oh, and he, apparently, has a habit of hunting. From what I understand, the interest in the MC came from the premise that the ML treats him as his... prey. To be more specific, like a little mouse. So of course he dragged him home like a captured animal.

At the point I'm reading, I feel like the ML leads a boring life and the MC will bring some kind of "entertainment" that will make the love between them blossom or something. I'll have to keep reading to see what happens.

It was quite a read. While for the most part as the title says it was a sweet there is some well built angst in later chapters. It got to the point I thought I accidentally picked up a tragedy! Thankfully it was not lol

Also despite being present smut scenes are few and minimal which I liked about it but others might feel otherwise. They also didn't get in the way of the plot and were mostly used to progress it which is very nice.

While it being super natural is... more>> minimal it does contribute quite alot to the plot.

The main supernatural feature was the existence of humans that have Horns and one side character that was a shaman.

Overall this was a great read I binged it hard. I definitely recommend it.

I will mention as well there are a few "chapters" that are only a paragraph or 2 but the translator later explains they are just interludes between the actual books. <<less

Well, this story is really underrated. I haven’t been reading novels for a while, and this was the one I picked as the first. About the writing style, I think its so easy to read and the translation was really good, it was a long novel but I read it in just 2 days, because of both the translation and the plot. The plot is really catching, you always wanna know what happens next, and the chemistry between the couple is amazing and well-built. It's a pretty bittersweet story about two completely different individuals coming together bearing burdens of their parents. Read the tags carefully and if you like the idea of yander ML x naive MC, try it. Both the writing and the translations are definitely worth it.
