The story is exciting at first but slowly becomes more generic. They are trying to channel the beta male vibe (Chinese version) with his incidental lucky harem encounters but too cowardly to act.

The story then adds some evil behind the scene plot that was meh. Add in some Buddhist monk hate. And you have the entire story.

This was built into GPT4.0... more>> to avoid people stealing copyrighted work. There is a work around for this but whoever used the program either didn’t realize the chat bot was doin it or didn’t bother to have it translated properly. <<less

This is pretty nice. While it does play out like any other cultivator novels, this one doesn't have a system! Which I like. So MC is not forced to do stuff that really has no purpose.

MC is smart and witty. He's not your super arrogant OP type of character, but more of a suave type. He has to rely on his knowledge of the yuri novel and the status of the character he transmigrated into to make a move.

I really like his interactions with the yuri protagonist. They bicker like... more>> a longtime couple.

Good read if you're looking for transmigration in cultivator novel with no system and incidentally raises flags with the heroines type of story. <<less

At first I'm looking for a Yuri series in the GL tag and found this. The premise having male MC, but seeing there's gl tag there felt interesting. So I read it while hoping for some Yuri moment at some point.

Well it turn out it just a mainstream isekai martial art story. But I find this quite fun to read. So I kept reading it until now! (I don't usually read martial art novel. I read the manhua ver. Usually. So I just have this and the Yuri one on... more>> my reading list)

I like the interaction with original MC. She's really have that MC trait!

And btw, the gl tag is gone now. <<less

A story with potential. Just like the only other reviewer said, it's nice that the MC transmigrates but doesn't have a system. He even tried to activate one, but there's none.

On the other hand, his character doesn't live up to his status (let me put it straight: he's too cowardly), and he constantly tries to scheme on how to use other people instead of getting stronger himself. While it's understandable because he said he's unlikely to get powerful enough to get over his impending crisis on his own, it still... more>> is a bit...

Anyway, it's painfully, glaringly obvious that the MC is just a normal person in the guise of a powerhouse in terms of his mindset and character. He's one of those protagonists who pretend to be someone much better, and I don't really like it.

Maybe I'll return to read on someday, but it is not this day. It's not a bad story, but it's not my cup of tea.

PS. the translation is not bad, but there are some mistakes... <<less

Pretty decent for a xianxia parody/comedy. Not a masterpiece in any way but can still be considered an entertaining read. It's filled with misundertandings with the MC accidentally raising flags with the heroines while ignoring their advances because he thinks they're gay. Too bad this got spammed with 1 star rating early on. Kinda cringe yuribros.

Worth a 3.8-4/5 stars at least

Well, its a reasonably generic harem and as you would normally do, plot and MC aren't too important, the most important part are girls. Although they do fall for our MC inexplicably quickly, otherwise they are perfectly fine, having distinct personalities and being possessive and catty.

Unfortunately MC is below average. He gets by via being silent and mysterious relying on meta knowledge and above average cultivation. I can mostly get over him being cowardly and passive. But he is also s*upid. He had a fairly simple conspiracy explained to him... more>> 3 times and each time he acts shocked and surprised and spends paragraphs after paragraphs comprehending, digesting it bit by bit and contemplating whether he should do something about it (he can't, he is hopelessly outmatched). But he gets somewhat better later. Still, mostly very enjoyable read, its just this one part really frustrated me.

Minor update: unfortunately although OG raws are fairly affordable, they are very difficult to MTL, since once you switch to VIP chapters, the website starts sending you gif images instead of text and they have chinese, transcription and watermarks. You should be able to get translation by just typing transcription into translator, but it is a lot of work and I wasn't able to automate it and its waay too much work. So unfortunate. It just started to get steamy. <<less
