Finished the 1st book, it’s different from the cliche “hero in isekai” light novels, I cannot find a single thing that I hate about this genre in this novel, the power surge, the female s*ave trope, the premature introduction of female lead, the “arrogant adventurers getting beat up” trope, and the detachment of past life after reincarnation... All of these are gone, it’s so refreshing omg, I can’t believe there is a novel without any of these elements

It portrayed some really healthy relationships, with natural character growth even in side... more>> characters. Male lead’s past life had a role in his personality as well, and it seeped into the plot nicely and it’s not superficial (like “let me make mayonnaise and take a bath together with my girl s*ave because im japanese and we support equality”), and it did not portrait all isekai people as idiots, MC actually had to learn from a mid-age local

The power scale definitely will be ridiculous, but to mitigate this, they did not put any direct description of mc’s strength in the 1st volume, there’s very limited fight scene, and all he fought were nameless background characters <<less
