MC writes letters for nobility, including the king and prince. Her grandmother did the same and was well known and respected for it. She is very shy, so she doesn't know how to interact with anyone other than sending letters. MC is invited to a party where she meets the prince and has a short conversation. There is chemistry, however they're interrupted by his fiancée, who is very rude and uncouth. MC goes along her daily life but notices a day or so later that the fiancée is cheating on the prince. MC reports this to the nobility. They investigate but don't find anything since their initial search is kind of shallow. MC is sad, but a short time later she's informed that the investigators kept searching and found the truth, . The engagement is broken and MC is thanked. Then the prince shows up and asks her out, she accepts.
