Zhang Dianyu becomes the warden in a prison construction game.

Since the prison started receiving a variety of peculiar transferred inmates, his daily prison reports have turned into this:

– Hydra inmates attempting to infiltrate Zone D guards to incite a small-scale riot—spent a fortune to stop it.

– A certain mentally unstable villain trying to blow up the prison walls to escape—spent a fortune to stop it.

– A certain escape expert attempting to dig a tunnel to escape—spent a fortune to stop it.

– Financial status: Deficit!!!

Zhang Dianyu: There seems to be something wrong with this game?

Undercover superheroes: …This prison is wrong in every way!

Inmates: The new guys are all talented… I just want to focus on reforming myself, applying for sentence reduction and parole, and staying far away from them.

Zhang Dianyu: For some reason, the inmates’ work enthusiasm has skyrocketed, but the prison seems to be getting poorer?

To reduce the escape rate and build a harmonious and civilized prison, Zhang Dianyu decides to don a disguise and personally teach the escaping inmates a lesson.

The only problem is that abandoning the disguise requires faking his death.

as I said down there, the taste of fanfiction is kinda heavy as the story goes by. The setting for this story was taken in Civil War, and Super Human Registration Act. I think parts were taken from the movie, while other parts were taken from the comic. The Author knew her/his way around the established Characters.

He really really lacks common sense. At all. Like he doesn't know what's normal enough or what's he supposed or not supposed to do.

he's even keep asking why a window can help keep mental health at bay, he doesn't understand what it feels like when you're potentially depressed dude and got locked in a room without window 24/7. And this happen not only for a prisoner, but for every prisoner in there, so if you're just ordinary prisoner, instead of getting better you'll get yourself sick more and more because of no clear air or even natural light. His lack of common sense make me questioning does this dude even human?

This story follows the journey of Zhang Dianyu as he became the Warden from the game he played, Prison Architect. From there, he needs to make sure that he's able to build a prison that can function as a normal prison without falling into bankruptcy. Unfortunately, he lacks common sense which may come from his

confusion over whether this place a real world or a game world. This make him made several questionable decisions that's not only creeped out the DC/Marvel characters, but also us reader.

Characters wise, this is qualified to be the crossover fanfiction of Marvel, DC and an original character. It's really funny how different the people look at the Warden and the Warden look at himself. Even come up with conspiracy theory for that one. Lmao.

It's unfinished yet, and I'll try to catch up with the original chapters. Overall, I give this 4, 7/5. I do hope The Warden can ended up with one of the good boys here, though up to now I haven't seen it yet. <<less

This start is good. There were introducing protagonist who transmigrate or reincarnate to a game world. It's a prison world from a game, then an an NPC started different from an ordinary NPC (because an NPC only a task-taker but the NPC he meet need an explaination about his action that raise his suspicion) but still doesn't bother him and thinking it's only a bug.

The next day he receive a task from the system (the system is introduce early on so he knew he's in a different world. The system... more>> is like his steam game). The task is to receive a troublesome prisoners. When the prisoners came, he knew it's not an ordinary game world. Because it's the legendary villain Joker! I laugh when he suprise but still take the villain to the morgue.

As the time goes, more and more villain and superhero coming to his prison, he realize he was taken to the Marvel and DC world. But he seems remain unbothered, still caring for the devisit of his prison.

Long story short, this novel follow the protagonist to solve his devisit problem in hilarious way and learning of the way the world goes. As the time goes, he became more and more human and learn more and more feeling of the people around him.

Why can't I rate it five stars? 8/10 for me <<less

I think this is an interesting story. I suggest adding fanfiction to the tag because it's basically a crossover fanfiction of Marvel, DC, and possibly other movies (I'm unsure because I'm just using machine translation) with an oc. Its also quite humorous if I may add, I disagree with some actions of the MC (but that's just me) and I do find some scenes confusing (probably b/c of machine translation) but I still quite enjoyed it. There's also the yaoi tag... There was literally no yaoi (as of latest chapter... more>> 73). There are funny misunderstandings that if you squint really hard you might categorize it as shounen ai.

For a fanfiction I really liked it, and I'm quite (I think) picky about fanfictions. <<less

It's a good story. I like MC a lot. I'm not sure if there's even romance in this. But if it truly exist, I think MC will end up with Tony Stark.

What I like about this story is the romance is pretty late. I like that MC is goal oriented. 👌 Moving on, the whole role of being a prison warden is unique. It's something I have not yet seen in MCs in fiction. The MC is pretty funny and dumb in some places too. Note, only in some places because... more>> I think MC is doing a great job at prison management.

I know this story has much more to give. But, as of now, I think I'm just gonna stop here. MTL is a pain to read and there's also chapters that are missing. I rate it 4/5. <<less
