It's not bad, but there's a lot of loose end, maybe it's best that way. The revenge is not very satisfying, but fitting for the family.

The MC age is far too young (there's 6 or 5 years different age from ml) for explicit romance, but I like the story anyway.

so nothing much has happened as of yet, just MC succeeding one after another and getting a small glimpse of MCs past.

I will be dropping this now, but more because of personal preference. I was first attracted to the reverse harem tag, sincere there are not many, and of those, there are rarely any well done (personal opinion) so I was looking forward to it. BUT after looking at the Chinese comments, it seems like this is not a reverse harem at all? I mean, it's great that MC and ML stick together and all, but I did have some expectations that were crushed :/ anyways, since I haven't finished this personally, I can't really say if it is reverse harem or not, but just saying this now, so that you may not have spent some time reading it just to drop it, like me ^^'

But, I have to say, I've almost only read good things about this, apparently meany readers on the Chinese side were very content with this, so I suppose that it really is well written?

on the side note, a big part of why I dropped this, is that I read that there will be side couples. Not really prominent in the story, but I really don't like reading about side couples haha apparently there are

The translation quality gets progressively worse. It starts off with quite pompous language and by ch. 37 ends up being unedited MTL that is rather difficult to understand.

If translation quality is important to enjoy a story to you I suggest reading ch. 37+ first to get a feel for what to expect.

Ngl, it kinda feels like a bait and switch to me.
