Unbelievable. Took me right out of my suspension of disbelief. In his 15 years in a wealthy household and 5 years of independence, MC didnt even bother to learn common sense and general info on society? Do muscle training and learn martial arts? Research the how and what adventuring is all about?

In his 16 hours awake did he just eat, sh*t and study? Where did he test his rifle? Supersonic bullets are loud and walled cities are crowded.

The plot is fun, as misunderstandings go, though a little forced. The author either doesn’t understand firearms as well as the author thinks, or takes huge liberties with the physics that are mentioned.

a minor spoiler; a supersonic projectile "as described in the scene" generates a supersonic shockwave. "Also described in the scene." The problem is the author says a silencer on the barrel stops a shockwave... that is continuously generated by a projectile that has already left the device.

I don't understand the high ratings of this novel.

Pros: The main character, possessing knowledge from a previous life, at least utilizes it in the current one. But in principle, that's the only positive thing that can be said about it.

Cons: The plot is dry and boring, like a daily report from the highway patrol. The narrative pace is uneven. On one hand, insignificant details that have no impact are extensively examined. On the other hand, the relationships between characters and their development are given just a couple of sentences, often... more>> accompanied by a timeskip. As a result, all characters, including the main hero, are utterly flat, cardboard-like, akin to NPCs in a low-tier FPS game. In other words, it's entirely possible that they have a rich, tragic backstory that would make us weep. But we'll never know about it because we have the Skip button. As a result, neither rapport nor empathy towards the main character can possibly arise. And the reader becomes completely indifferent to what happens to the main character. <<less

While the chapters are relatively short, they don't lack substance. Just enough to have progress and few fillers. THe Protagonist family is supportive and you can feel the family bonds between them. The Premise is fun and while the world building is just enough it, it rarely builds upon side characters except to push the story forward. If you're a fan of underdog isekai without the sadistic overtone of other similar novels.
