One day, the protagonist finds himself falsely accused of a crime. His girlfriend, Yasena Asami, one-sidedly accuses him of being the culprit and breaks up with him.

With nobody believing his innocence, the protagonist becomes a target of bullying at school and is left utterly devastated.

However, over time, the protagonist manages to clear his name in cooperation with Midori Takaki, a well-known celebrity at school. Upon learning the truth of the false accusation, Yasena is overwhelmed with regret for not believing in him and apologizes to the protagonist. But it is already too late…

The story is about how he wants to drive her into a corner by ignoring her and other things she didn’t believe in.

I won't sit here and tell you that this is some masterpiece of literature, but depending on your circumstances this could be a satisfying read for you. Let me explain.

If you have read some of the other "Framed and nobody believed me" novels on this site and they were the ones where the betrayed MC forgives the people around him easily for no reason, then this might be for you. This is a oneshot that almost feels like it exists solely to give satisfaction to people who were disappointed with... more>> some of the longer running betrayed novels.

This oneshot is very light on the details about how he was framed and how he was proven innocent. It mostly focuses on his ex-girlfriend who should have believed him and how she's feeling bad after he is proven innocent.

TL;DR - Good read if you're tired of forgiveness in the stories that say they will "never forgive", but otherwise probably pretty blah to someone new to false accusation novels. <<less
