Everything Wang Hu ever wanted before he died was to build a family.

It's pretty bad. Summary sounded good but the story reads like it was written by an incel with power fantasies. It's pretty clear that the MC reincarnating as a tiger is used as a thin excuse to justify a lot of selfish and socially unacceptable behavior and thoughts. Besides also being an epically awesome, powerful king of beasts *rolls eyes*. The writing itself is very immature and unnecessarily drawn out. Most chapters have very little content and compose mostly of MC's mental monologue about how awesome he is as a... more>> tiger.

The female tiger is clearly seen as a possession. He knows she's strangely intelligent and willful yet chooses to disregard all evidence that she could be like him. At one point he compares her intelligence and behavior to that of a human teenager. It's a large part of what attracts him. But he never acknowledges her will and goes on forcing all his desires and fantasies on her all the while repeatedly using the fact he's a tiger now to justify his actions. After acknowledging that she would literally rather die than be with him he still decides to forcefully mate with delusions of her complying afterwards to be his little wife. As someone who enjoys dark themes and is not scared off by the r*pe tag I still like the act to be acknowledged for what it is, a violation of another's autonomy. Its clear the MC has no concerns or understanding of his actions and the author tries very hard to normalize and justify them.

He literally gets mad whenever she doesn't act the way he wants. He gets mad when she continues to fight even after the deed because "raw rice once cooked can't be uncooked" aka he's already r*ped her why does she continue to not want to be r*ped and forcefully imp**gnated, how dare she!? But teehee, this just makes her more special and perfect for our MC. He also gets angry she rejects his food but once she finally gives in but still clearly doesn't trust him he gets angry for "taking his money without paying back". All the while talking himself up for not being like other scumbag male tigers since he's being a good husbando and father *bleh*.

MC is constantly flipping between admiring her and tearing her down Every positive trait he admires he turns around and calls her the opposite whenever she isn't "obedient". Calling her ugly, s*upid, foolish, etc... typical scumbag abusive bs behavior.

Honestly, with how realistically repulsed she is by him I can't help but feel the author is probably a real life 'nice guy' and writing her based on his experience. Of course with the twist that by wearing her down through persistent harassment, physical and mental domination, and baby trap he gets his trophy wife instead of jail time.

The self hype is also ridiculous. Multiple chapters are spent on a side pov from a biologist talking about how MC is the most popular tiger in the north. Voted king of kings online. How everyone loves and admires his big, strong, awesome self. How even though there are 4 other kings MC could defeat any of them but none of them could ever defeat him. And how of course the female tiger he picks would be the bestest, most prettiest, mama tiger. The "northern king" would only pick the best.

All in all a very underwhelmingly juvenile incel Chad power fantasy. <<less

The ppl giving 1 star and complaining about the MC being a piece of sh*t have no understanding of the character and basically didn't read it. The MC has been a tiger in the wilderness for 10 Years!!! Hes at old age, his body is starting to go down hill, and hes going to die in a couple years cause of a tigers lifespan. He is depressed wants a family but cant bring himself to mate with another tiger cause formerly human, until he meets the FL and is smitten.... more>> He then rationalizes r*ping her cause he defeats her, and is a freakin Tiger in the end because guess what... that's what tigers do! <<less

Wow this novel is so much worse than I expected. The MC is absolutely TERRIBLE! His personality is basically narcissism and selfishness. Forced marriage is a huge understatement considering he R*ed her, and is hugely unapologetic. Instead he calls her "silly" for being angry. In fact he continues to call her silly every time he refers to her, as well as an idiot, etc. Just because you reincarnated as a tiger does not mean you should abandon all the morals you had as a human, it just shows to me... more>> that you didn't value them much to begin with.

Frankly, I have never given a novel a 1 star, especially this early. I usually give all novels a fair chance, however, just by reading this far, I can see that this is something I definitely don't want to continue.

Maybe the novel gets better somewhat, however I won't waste my time reading it any longer. <<less

A 10/10 masterpiece!

Novel starts with a scene of MC raping a tigress. What a rare find!

In the next 100+ chapters protagonist will use all kinds of tricks and simping methods in order to tame the said fierce silly tigress. And it's hilarious to read. (He can't use force cause she has an ability to instakill him in life-and-death battle).

... more>> Cultivation aspect isn't bad too. MC is a tiger who is building his tiger community from scratch in the era of awakening spiritual power.

This novel is unique enough to give it a try even if you're not really interested at first. <<less

This novel contains r*pe, and that was when the protagonist and the female lead met. Soon afterwards, he respects her and acts according to her wishes. The relationship dynamics reminds me of Empress' Gigolo, though this is considerably better in my opinion. Plus they have adorable children.

I won't say much about the character's personality because it's a fiction with its own rules and logic.

However, the writing style is kinda bland for me at least, but atleast it isn't cringey (Too edgy or too narcissistic [I actually don't know how to explain: Showing than telling I guess]).

Anyway, it's a nice novel with children and morals in the perspective of a tiger {A wild animal} with a human mind {But eventually tilted to the Tiger side}
