traveling after he left the pried due to being chased off by humans. However he has ditched his siblings with basically zero remorse, which the story up till now was heavily integrated with. It was a also basically little to no explanation. He then started to travel away, saving hopeless animals and weirding/scaring out other prides.

The sentences became overly repetitive and dull, it was like the author lost all his motivation or that his manusicript/outline only went to the previous arc and major plotlines. It is just severely frustrating for me to read now due to the contrasting story and quality from all the previous chapters.

Luckily it goes back to familiar story quality after. But then a another problem eventually appears. It is that the author will start to introduce more fight scenes and these are beyond the word repetitive. You will eventually get so bored that you skim the fight scenes, especially as some have more filler than they need to in order to move the plot.

This is honestly one of my favorite stories in a while, especially with how unique it is, that being a non human character.

The favorite part of this story for me is the world building. The second has to be the side character building. Honestly the MC character building was kinda bad after the beginning, you could usually feel the authors laziness. Side characters though were very interesting. The 3 major or was major side characters in the first 100 chaps are my personal favorites (appear later too but like 100 chaps later...). I loved their interactions, especially with the 1 extra major side char that appeared sometimes which was the leapord. I hope that the story will quickly pick up again as I will probably drop soon... I started to skim chapters. This book is also pretty slow-paced.

Last note, the cover literally has nothing to do with the story. Maybe the MC becomes human again at the end though? But still...

• Secondly, the novel in general was wonderful as a kind of different types of novels, of course this is until a certain part in which it became like the rest of the novels, if not worse

• I would recommend it to anyone who is bored of other types of novels, regardless of their classification

• But if you come up with my advice, stop at Chapter 300 or so

The side characters are very well done. The story isn't. This is mostly an angst/action story about a lion who fights stuff. The lion is overpowered or under powered when the author wants it to be. The 'cheat' the lion has could be removed from the story without anything changing. Meaningful side characters will die off without any motivation or suspenses, even off screen. This isn't why I'm giving this 2 stars, but it is annoying.

Not to mention, it seems his power isn't unique at all. So what does he have going for him which would justisfy him rising to the top and not only ending up at the looked down-upon son in law, who was forced to marry into the family, because his now wife fell in love with him and abused her families' power to get her will. (That is the future I see for the protagonist, or would in a human society.)

His power is weaker than hers of the same age, his power grows slower, her authority is higher, she seems to have to have strong unique powers he lacks and so on. I can't see him than anything more as the shadow or bullied dog of her/beings of her level. I wanted to see his rise to the top, but the author made it impossible for him with his s*upid storytelling, at least without huge logical flaws.

My annoyance has surpassed my enjoyment since over 100 chapters, but I perservered and ignored all those parts which made me want to drop it from the very beginning, because I saw this stories' potential and did not give up hope the author would not waste it.

However now my annoyance has greatly surpassed my enjoyment while reading and because my annoyance and anger is growing with every single chapter, I decided to give up hope to not ruin my weekend. Sadly, because this novel had the potential to become one of my favourite novels.]

Additionally: That whole stuff about white fur (skin) being considered superior, a certain group considering their bloodline superior and looking down upon others not part of their group and killing mixed bloods/those of other blood, we in germany are already well acquantainted with that. Although it certainly doesn't go that far by a wide margin, I don't need to read about racism and in such a novel about animals...

And the author is terribly uninformed about animals and when talking about animal behaviour and he is capable of spouting the smelliest sh*t out of his mouth.

To add this novel's strongest point: The author is pretty good at character building. The characters have a certainly personality, but sometimes they go against their own personality in a believeable way and their personality changes slowly. I think the author would be more suited for writing slice of live and/or romance novels. <<less

Reading the first few chapters I realized the potential and cursed all the bad reviews almost turning me away from something so unique. I still don't regret reading the story, it gave me a lot of inspiration as to what a story can be since I was still unused to the idea of an animal reincarnation novel. However, it simply became boring. I think after two hundred chapters or so, there should have been a plot twist like some of them slowly being able to morph into humans or just something.

The author is good at initially building characters and the characters usually stay throughout the story, but they just become inconsequential and repetitive after they have their moments. You really need to love lions to be able to read all 600 chapters and not get bored. <<less

It started really great and I really like the Idea of lion MC but.... around chapter 200-ish, I started to dislike the development. I don't really like how repetitive the battles and so I started to skim it. There are times that I'm thinking there should be a time skip around here. It gets incredibly tiresome to read it.
