Funny and lighthearted system novel. Little to no combat scenes, just really funny dialogue between MC and his elder sister with the rest of the cast. Plot is also really straightforward and well thought out. Might be a little hard to understand due to a lot of Chinese slang but the comedy in this novel is really worth it.

Fair warning though, this novel has been axed, so it's ended at chapter 727. Really sad, but the author did wrap things up with a nice twist.

It's very similar to I’m Really a Superstar, except it's not for MCs benefit as much as his sister. MC sits as a power in the shadows. Face slapping not as ridiculous so far as in I'm Really a Superstar but it is there.

It is a really good story and pretty well written, however the direction of the romantic subplot started to get... weird.

At first the two siblings were really like brother and sister, but their interactions started to have a weird undercurrent. Not only that but Qin Ze (protagonist) has moments of physical attraction to his sister. It's weird and I really couldn't stand to read more, especially if this ends up going the "not his real sister so they can **** like it started to foreshadow in the beginning. If it's... more>> not that or straight up inc*st then I'll start reading again. Plot is good, storytelling is good, characters are developed, and the translation is good. <<less

I'm not sure if its the translation but the novel feels incredibly slow and boring. With the title you would expect the story to revolve around him and his sister but their interactions feel very small with barely any focus on her trying to become a star, which is fine in itself but the alternative is just very unappalling to me.
Every interaction he has with his friends feel like a slog to read though, since as a baseline reading about a game of league of legends is just incredibly boring, and there interactions don't really make up for it. They banter with each other but its just not interesting to read about, making every single one of their interactions a pain to read though and for some reason it feels like they are present in the story more than his sister or anyone else.
The plot itself feels like a mess. I expected it to be his sister getting into problems and him having to help but its just him having a campus life where he is (mainly) playing games with his friends, talking about studying, having basic conversations with his sister, ect. Where it just is so uninteresting.

Then there is also a factor that I just dislike. While I know there are different morals and things like that, its still unpleasant to read about children being beaten by their parents and for some reason it irks me a lot more in this novel than in other chinese novels that have it.

Overall the story just feels incredibly boring to read for me with nothing to hook me further along. While I am a bit interested in how his sister becomes a star with the way things are going thats just going to be such a long and boring journey that I can't care. The novel itself is well written for the most part, but it feels slow and the interactions with the friends are just horrible to read. (Then again this could just be a translation thing, the translation feels very chinese compared to other translations where you can tell the translator changed phrasing and stuff to make it sound better in english, and while its not inherently bad for it to have this chinese feeling it does usually make it a lot harder to read since a lot of things just feel different than what I'm use to, so this factor could make some of the things like the interactions with the friends a lot more boring than it would be otherwise.)

This novel can be hilarious at times, even if some of the cultural and linguistic references go unrecognized. The MC has a harem but doesn't hook up with every girl that he can, he has many options but only sticks with the ones he loves which is the best way to do a harem if an author is going to stick to that genre. He's also a G. This book is very similar to I'm Really a Super Star, MC becomes a magnate in all sorts of business fields and... more>> entertainment fields, all because of his system. Give it a shot if you want something similar to IRASS, this is by far the closest you'll get.

Am I the only one that picked up on the fact that Qin Ze and Wang Zijin are siblings? At the very end her father reveals that he fell in love with a humble woman from a small town and they had an illegitimate child. He never contacted her again. Earlier, Qin Ze learns that his biological mother had a child with an unknown rich second generation young man that never contacted her again. The author made this allusion pretty damn explicit. So buddy is technically with two of his sisters by the book's end. Damn son! <<less
