One of the reasons I like this story is unlike most father daughter novels where the dad loves his daughter because he loved her mother and dotes on her excessively because of that, this father loves his daughter because she is his daughter. It's like a breath of fresh air compared to other stories where the mom whom the father loved passed away and blah blah

In the original story that the MC was reincarnated into, her father was the protagonist of a tragic novel where almost everyone dies on the path to rebellion. Maybe the author was George Martin lmao.

This is a story where some people are born with powers - those that are get noble status according to their powers, but are required to serve in the military and fight in the constant war. Those that don’t have powers are treated as a lower caste and are required to bow to those who do.

The MC’s father, one of the most powerful people in the empire, deserts after his daughter is born, because he refuses to let his daughter be forced to go to war (given her bloodline, the emperor would definitely not let her go). And thus we come to the beginning of the story...

To me this story is interesting because the world has that grimdark setting better suited to a gritty tragedy (even coming with two tragic backstory OP heroes) but through the MC it becomes a ‘everyone loves me’ and ‘let’s change the fate of dying’ story. This isn’t really a new idea but it’s well executed, the characters are likeable, and it seems like the plot might become interesting in the future. She has the setup where she could be pretty powerful, and I’m hoping that the story goes in that direction.

I like that the MC acts like both an adult and a child - she’s not s*upid, and she’s not annoying either. Her memories of her past life are hazy but they do clearly have an effect on her, but she’s been reincarnated and is now a child and feels like one.

Overall this story isn’t super original but it’s good quality and it’s missing some tropes that I feel like we’re all tired of (dead mother, etc). I didn’t have any problems with the pacing or the writing, it seems good to me. This story has the potential to become really interesting! Will be keeping up with this translation (thanks for your hard work!) and will update this review if my opinion changes in the future.

If you like this kind of story or are thinking about it then I’d definitely recommend giving it a try. <<less

FOR ONCE the mother doesn’t die giving birth in an isekai plot. Hallelujah! \ (TAT) / Anyways, I don’t know if it’s the translation or the pacing of the plot, but everything is happening way too fast for me to understand. The readers aren’t given enough time to take everything in because of the multiple events that occur within such a short time frame and it’s only 7 chapters. This is very unfortunate because I feel like this story has very good potential due to its... more>> plot. I will give it some time and stack some chapters so hopefully by then, something will change.

i first wrote this review at ch55 but it was more of a rant about how much I love the main characters instead of a review (oops)

anyway, im at ch 110 now and ny feelings havent changed, I really really love this novel, and I was gonna buy the premium access because I couldnt wait, but the currency was in USD so it was more expensive for me. in this novel, the dad is literally the best dad out of all the novels i've read, and ive been avoiding child MC stories because I love copy paste stories (i eat it up every time), but it was just too much watching the sweet MCs work for their cold fathers affection (when in reality they already have it but just wont show it, which is s*upid) or how they were only cherised because they were what was left of the beloved wife of the mc's father. 💀 This dad openly expresses his love for his daughter, it is a story about a father and daughter who love eachother so much that they try to protect eachother with everything they have, even if it means he has to spend the rest of his life killing people for the emperor or she ends up being used as a puppet and then dying so that she cant be used as her fathers weakness. (Im not saying this has happened, I mean that this is how far each of them are willing to sacrifice for the other.) its important to know the father is also a man with high morals that he sticks to faithfully, but he is willing to betray them to protect our fl, because her life is precious no matter what. I really liked how even after returning to the dukes mansion, enoch (father) was not any less involved in his daughters life as he was before. He raised her as a single parent for 7 years, and he continues to stay by her side everyday no matter his position. It is a story where you cant help but cry because of their relationship, because although very sweet there are many sweet potatoes because everyone is against them. (Also dad is a complete softie for her, for example when he saw her first baby teeth start to come through he cried because it was too adorable)

i think the FL is very balanced in how she can be true to her physical age at times but has not forgotten how to act her actual age, if that makes sense. Shes not too childish or too mature, which is rare to find. She also takes steps to protect her dad, as is a common theme among our child MCs (eg recruiting important people, contact with the guilds etc), but for me the difference here is that it actually makes a big impact on helping her dad; you know how in some stories they think they're being helpful but the fathers are just too capable and it doesnt really do much? I can confidently say that this doesnt apply here, and the FL is a very useful and capable person! Her and her dad are literally the best duo <3

also I literally love oscar soo much!! I know at the start people were confused about him but his basically fl's mother LOL ! I wont spoil too much about him though, and I have briefly read some spoilers but ive decided for the second time ever that I dont want to spoil this story for myself before I finish because I really love it. (That being said, I know there are many emotional things coming in the next 30 or so chapters without knowing the details, so I am preparing my tissues)

overall, read it please. I avoided this for so long but idk why, and I really regret it now. It is a novel that I will carry with me, and im really grateful to the translator who translates this with dedication, so thank you<3

edit: also the reality of this world is very dark, it is a setting where people not born with power are openly discriminated against even by the emperor. It is a very prevalent issue that FL encounters and struggles with repeatedly, so overall I think if you want you heart to be overflowing with warmth but also dont want a completely mindless or happy story then I really strongly recommend it. <<less

This is a really fluffy and cute novel, with a lot of focus on the main character being spoiled.

The MC is Lilith, a girl who grows slower than her peers, who also have the memories of her previous life. She is reincarnated into the world of a novel she has previously read before in her past life. For much of the story, or at least from where I am at, she acts mostly like a very smart child, with knowledge of the future. Since she is reincarnated as a child,... more>> she has several instincts that are child-like, but unlike most of the novels that likes to go with this setup, she is not annoying. Instead, her slight childishness is used to enhance the fluffiness of the novel.

The side characters are decent, not a lot of emphasize is put on them. Their personality are pretty trope-y, but they are not bad nor are they annoying.

The world-building is pretty nice; it doesn't require you to use a lot of your braincells to undercover some hidden plot or some vague foreshadowing. A lot of the things are well explained. There's no plot holes (or at least ones that I can see), and the world-building are decent enough that it doesn't make you question about potential plot holes.

From where I'm at in the story, the story is just starting, and the exposition phase just finished. The setup for the world seemed to be finished, and the quality of the setup is very nice. Very fluff, very noice. Recommended if you need some cuteness in your life. <<less

More about Fathers and daughter relationship. Little romance but the plot is soo good. Some arc are super touching.

I wish they can have extra chapter more that show the life after the HE.

Totally not regreting losing sleep to binge this the whole day.

The MC is adorable and her father is also cool. She cares for everyone and also loves the ML. Though she is very dense. The ML is someone with trust issues which ends up leaving shortly after meeting the FL. Although the hiding her power thing is a bit irritating, it makes sense since she would be taken advantage of endlessly if she didn't hide it. Also, I HATE that Emperor guy... Carrying on, the FL helps her father by secretly urging him and sending information through her alias, L.

I just read this novel as something to pass the time but somehow I find myself clicking the next chapter, there was an arc that has back to back chapters which made me so emotional cuz the love of the characters for MC especially the Enoch and Oscar is just really touching like I was not prepared. I just came here for a cute story but it also made me cry my hearts out.

It's a must-read childcare novel. Even though the overall concept was commonly used, the world-building and plot had an engaging quality, and the execution was compelling enough to draw in the reader. It's entertaining, and the plot was decent enough for me to keep on reading. My limited attention span approved of it lol. The pace was ideal—it wasn't overly slow or monotonous. Though I was quite engrossed in it due to the humorous tones so I didn't mind the slow time skip because it was a really fun novel... more>> to read. Although the chapters from 200+ may seemed a bit lacking for me, it was sort of rushed (?) idk well I still adore everything, especially the characters' bonds and familial ties. I don't have much to say about FL, which is Lilith. I just wished that Lilith would be selfish a little more since she's so nice, a bit frustrating and annoying honestly. Also, Enoch's unconditional love for his daughter was one of the prominent aspects of this story. My favorite characters in this novel are Oscar and Enoch, they're the ones who made me continue to read this and I love them, especially Oscar. In case you enjoy reading novels about childcare, don't miss this one! As of right now, this earned a spot in my all-time favorite childcare novels; the top spot goes to "The Baby Raising a Devil, " which is followed by "WMMAP."

I had a very slight slight concern though. That's why I won't be giving this novel a 10/10 rather it's 9.3/10.

I just felt uncomfortable when Lilith and Cheshire started dating at the ages of 14 and 18. I know they met when they were like 7 and 11 but them being in a relationship and already engaging in skinship... that's just so wrong to me. I know Lilith is mentally older but she can't even act as such since her thoughts and ego are adjusted to her current age—a literal child. What's worse is Lilith's always the one who's initiating the kiss first?!?!! They kissed 4 TIMES already in two months of dating?!! Lilith girl you're not even 16 why are you so flirty like that? MY FACE CRUMPLED SO BADLY WHEN I READ THAT I WAS LIKE AM I READING THIS RIGHT? SHE KISSED HIM? She's 14? and he's 18?!! or am I just overreacting? Is it normal nowadays for kids to date let alone kiss? It's so weird. Why did the author choose this kind of development T^T at least she should've been 17 or 18 and not 14. It was turning out pretty good but this development downgraded it for me ugh

When Enoch witnesses the "affair" of the two "kids" he says she's not allowed to go outside for 2 years then Lilith replies "Dad don't you believe in Cheshire? We didn't do anything wrong so why are you doing this?" then Enoch replied, "No, Dad definitely realized what happened today. I believe in Cheshire, but I don't trust you." Yes Enoch you should limit your daughter she's getting out of hand why the hell is a 14 y/o like that oh my goodness

I immediately dropped this when a mentally older MC confessed he is inlove with a 11 years old kid. Disgusting. Does the author have a pe*ophilia kink?

This is a cute novel from the start if you turn off your brain and keep reading it. Well, MC acting too childishly as a grownass woman mentally. The fact ML act more maturely than her always gets me. She's a mary sue character and not clever enough or cunning to survive. She always using her daddy as a shield everytime she involve in... more>> verbal fight. Girlie don't know how to stand up for herself alone. For some readers they find this cute but reality check this is childishly made by the author. This is popular in kakaopage. I understand because koreans likes cutesy things even if it's childish.

P.S. Translator pls stop translating this "응" into "eung" coz the proper translation is yep, yeah or yes not that childish sound that you just invented. Everytime I saw this word I cringe so bad. <<less

I adore them so much. Although I dont like the mom, her actions to protect her son was also... a valid reason but selling her daughter out is still not ok to me. b*tch, she is also your daughter! As long as she and that son of her dont come near MC im happy. I hope MC will be happy.

Though in all, its not that much difference from the usual reincarnation-like novels. They wake up in a new body, learn to use their powers, its just I think this focus more on the dad and daughter and it warms my heart that it does. I need some good crying from this. <<less

I think its a cute story. Lots of cute kids. And a doting daddy. A beautiful relationship between father and daughter where the other's life is more precious than their own life. Love love the characters. And the story itself is intriguing, I was curious...
