Bloody finally.

A ditzy/ naive FL who knows her limits and boundaries. Well done. For once.

A family treating her like an object cause she’s an orphan. Check. Well done cause there’s no dog-blood drama, no sending her drugged to ML’s room and asking for her opinion (even if she was guilt tripped) bloody awesome.

A ML who is respectful, courteous, honest, and can communicate for f***’s sake where has this novel been my whole life!!! Only downside is that he is slightly groomy (32y compared to FL’s 19y) however its a novel,... more>> fiction, as in not real so, it comes off romantic mostly cause he does it in a protective manner.

Also FL female cousin of course comes back and sees that the ML is not a pot belly middle aged pe*vert so it’s just right for her to get “her possession” back? F*** no, ML shut her down faster than I could say DAMN B****!!! Like he didn’t use the cousin as a way to test the FL’s love? Wow 🤩 so satisfying.

Also a FL that communicates even if s** is mostly used against her to tell her mind. But it’s not left out till the last few chapters so no bloody MISUNDERSTANDINGS!!!

I actually never mind a large age difference between FL and ML, moreover, it's only 12 years age gap. But what made me feel uncomfortable was how inncocent and naive FL in this story was. It's like doing "it" with a kid.

Aside from that point, I think ML was a decent man. He was very mature just like his age. He wasn't blindly jealous of his love rivals and took their provocations calmly. She never restrict FL's freedom and let her do what she wanted and even facilitated her. He... more>> also didn't imp**gnate FL when she said she wasn't ready. He's really like a perfect gentleman that only existed in the dream.

The plot itself was quite simple. There was no unnecessary drama and misunderstanding. The sm*t was a bit boring though so I skipped most of it. <<less

It's a pretty novel, without unnecessary situations or drama.

The ML is a cunning fox who fell head over heels in love with an innocent girl who is as helpless as a puppy, causing him to need to protect her from everyone and everything, except him.

Other than the age gap, the novel was actually enjoyable. So many hot scenes and dog food moments. ML and FL having typical business marriage arrangement story.... but the novel started when they already meet after 1 month and living together as engaged couple.

The ML (Fu Hengzhi) was doting to innocent/kind FL (Ji Xao). The ML got jealous tendencies but he's mature in dealing it and showed support to her decisions because he wanted her to enjoy her college life. This type of plot might be forgettable and most characters lacked depth... but I liked that "supposed" antagonists (FL's fam) were willing to changed and cleared up their feelings <<less

This is the most unexpected story I have ever read in a way that there's no complicated plot, unnecessary conflict and most of all, unreasonable story line.

*Spoiler alert*

First things first, the FL's sister's overturn is quite new, I thought that it'll be more complicated as it goes but, surprisingly, it ends really well. Also, her hate (FL's sister) is not like other story that simply unexplainable but it has a reason which is kinda childish in some ways.

Second, the story was really short although it feels a little lacking for... more>> me because maybe I'm not used to this kind of story that didn't actually gives more indepth to the side characters background and importance to the story.

Next, the ML's characterization is the most unexpected, well, excluding the age gap because the author already gave insight about it in the description, anyways, I really like the ML although he was kinda possessive in some parts but he wasn't really unreasonable and actually thoughtful. I don't really know how to put it in a word but he is good (although he is really evil to everyone who hurts the FL).

Lastly, the ending is also unexpected I didn't even realize it was finish not until I read the author's note and translator's. Anyways, this kind of ending is new to me as most of the time the story ends with FL being so accomplished with her career and build a family with the ML but it wasn't unpleasant because I really can't imagine the FL being a mother already, so it's a good and happy ending for me. <<less
