After the resurgence of monsters, major cities are engulfed in fear, and bizarre extinct creatures emerge endlessly.

Lou Yan, with his attractive appearance and strong personality, became the object of admiration for countless people who went crazy for him, kneeling at his suit pants. Awakening a remarkable ability, he follows the first and strongest hero known as the savior, Fu Xuezhou.

Everyone believes that Fu Xuezhou will lead them to end the monster resurgence.

However, after Fu Xuezhou ascends to the throne, he destroys the world, shattering everyone’s hopes.

Lou Yan welcomed his rebirth amidst despair and hatred.

***

After the rebirth, Lou Yan learned that this world has been destroyed three times by Fu Xuezhou and restarted three times. Each time, Fu Xuezhou can go from the beginning to the end but, in the last moment, smiles and destroys everyone’s trust in him.

This is a huge playground for him.

On the night of the monster resurgence, Lou Yan merges with a terrifying monster, turning into a ghostly appearance.

With black eyes tinged with red, exuding venom, and wearing a smile, Lou Yan, in a completely different and assertive posture, stands in front of Fu Xuezhou.

You like watching others in despair, right?

Well, let me make you feel that way too 🙂

The entire story is fictional, set in a non-real world;

Ok this my first time reviewing in other language so sorry if I have problem with grammar in this review.

Well anyway, I personally one of those people who like violent romance like enemies turned lovers. The kind where they truly want to kill each other, from first part to middle it was really exciting and even cough cough monster f*cker happen cough cough which really surprised me more but really welcomed in my case. Anyway I didnt wanna spoil to much since idk how to use the spoiler thingy here... more>> but ill try my best not to spoil to much. Im currently mtl this up to 200+ chp. I must say while my journey to this point, the author did boring job making a plot seems interesting without the presence of ml, I ended up skipping many because the side chara feels a bit bland in my opinion. But when it close to the end there were interesting plot twist about the side chara but thats it. I cant really bring myself to like the side chara cuz they feel like npc.

Ok onto the MC and ml. I love MC baddass style! But I also hate his stubborn and arrogance, I even feel that he acted like a child throwing a tantrum when it comes to ml. It feels to much, but I keep ignoring it so I have no problem going on 200 chp but when it close to the end, I get the MC pov but also felt it was wrong because HE JUST NEED TO TALK IT OUT JUST TALK IT OUT DAMMIT, STOP PUSHING AWAY AND FACE IT! I find his cowardice suprising, really not his usual style. I even hate him because of how terrible he played ml, at the end because its to cruel. I sometimes wished ML got into someone better to be with.

And about ml, he is a good character ngl but the way author wrote him at the end just kinda butcher his only chance to be better because it ended up in violence and violence again... I even questioned his logic in romance when he read so many advice in internet lol. Its just unfortunate, well they did get together but it left a bitter taste to my mouth about their romance. Doesnt feel to peak, theres no upgrade and feels like they stuck in one place. Even MC didnt get a chance to have a character development. I just feels so disappointed.

For those that want to read something like this similar where the enemies turned lover were geniue killing while also wrote good romance and smutty, I recommend checking out "this damned thirst for survive" GENUINELY MY FAV!!!

And lastly my wording probably sound complicated but basically I agree with the first bottom reviewer opinion <<less

OMG! Let me just start off with saying this book was a rollercoaster ride and really blew all my expectations out of the park. Another great piece from this author with unexpected plot twists and great story telling, and when I say plot twist, I mean PLOT TWIST!

Do expect the romance to not really kick start until 120/130+ chapters. But once it starts... UGHGHHDGKJSDNGJSNLG, my fists were pounding on my bed from being over stimulated!! You will also get the feels as you see the pair grow, though it will... more>> take a while 🥹

If you enjoy a good ol' enemy to lovers trope, good banter, tease and the ML falling head over heels, I HIGHLY recommend this novel as I will also be putting this on one of my top novels I have read.

Note, there are a few points where it seems like the ML may be more forceful but there isn't anything where it gets overboard and will make you think this ML is a terrible person in my perspective. If you have read Roses and Champagne, the Korean bl, it gives me similar vibes for ML but less intense in the violence from my memory. I won't explain further as I don't want to spoil anything. However, if you are against that vibe, I would just recommend not reading it to not lower the rating of a good novel that deserves, in my opinion, a lot higher score! <<less

It's basically a fetish work, violence + s*x (aual assault), ML constantly threatening and trying to r*pe MC, but all for plot reasons (yeha, sure, how convenient).

The "romance" is based on mutual brutality, cruelty, and straight up gore.

I'm honestly very disappointed because the story could have been super interesting, apart from a bunch of things that aren't foreshadowing but massive plot holes.

It could have even been a decent fetish-work if the writer would have actually known how to write such a thing, sadly she doesn't, and calling it "romance" is... more>> so far off, that it's one of the most deceptive cases I've seen.

Do not read this if you have a problem with the CP trying to dominate, r*pe, and kill the other, in addition to brutally mutilating each other again and again.
Severe violence based fetish and romance doesn't go together, there's a reason why popular fetish-authors never do it.

If you can overlook all that, be prepared for broken logic and 99% of problems/conflict being caused by characters not talking about crucial things. That's honestly more frustrating than the messed up fetish aspects and the biggest reason for my rating.
I would deduct one star for the "romance", but three for the plot holes and adult characters not knowing how to communicate when a few sentences would have solved basically all conflicts.
The writer did it to keep up the CPs violent interactions and large parts of the plot, had everyone talked to each other just for a minute, the novel would have been done in maybe 60 chapters.

The writer re-wrote several chapters to correct some of the phrasing, OOC behaviour, and details that made no sense, so you know that she never had a proper outline. And it shows.

Can't recommend for the story or "romance", but might sate your hunger for fictional sadism, just don't expect the quality of proper fetish-works. <<less
