Actually.. recommended by me. Read my review and check my other reviews to have an idea of my tastes and the degree of objectivity.

The concept is fairly innovative, similar to "Let Me Game in Peace" as in both MCs have a device (a black phone left by grandfather / a console from parcel arrival) that defies laws. This novel is better all-around though.

Spoiler

The difference is that in LMGiP the MC is in control of the phone, has to scan and upload an instance irl to have its 100% mirrored present-time game version and other than one-time opportunities that can't be re-created after obtained while gaming, most of the action and stuff happens as usual in reality with the MC's cheated knowledge and experience. It also has worse, predictable plot and is more battle and cliche comedy focused.

In "Mini Worlds of Endless Fun Await, " on the other hand, the console uses MC as its puppet to realize its goals, giving MC opportunities under game banner in the form of real-life simulations in past or future time with different scenarios/game characters and the best runs that he submits transform into a reality auto-play scenes. Some games happen in present time too. It's more plot and mystery focused with a lot of world-building.

[collapse]

In terms of plot progression it reminds me of "Spare Me, Great Lord!" when it comes to "Qi" returning, people awakening, govts taking action, MC leading a second lifestyle nobody knows about. It keeps you invested in the novel despite the MC being a chill, couch potato who's not the brighest bulb out there (actually it's pretty realistic, an addicted gamer who's too lazy to use his brain and probably fried his gray cells long ago) and pretty much doesn't even fight in reality nor has any remarkable personality traits that would make him stand out from other characters.

Ironically, his job is an intellectual one, but since his job revolves around the occurences which he takes part in during his long days of playtime, he's no different than a highschool student cheating--copying answers from internet during coronavirus and then voila, no more work, can play games :D

I'll also add that the "Mini Worlds" belong to "game infinity style, " which is a part of the infinity genre - he has his gaming adventures which later blend into reality. It's as if he is time travelling & crossing over to other worlds, but not in person. He is free to decide on the development and end product of the scenarios he plays. The catch is in his performance: poor one means the world he lives in could get f*cked by apocalypse, and in result his quality of life would take a turn for the worse.

Spoiler

I am actually wondering if the sender of the console is his future self. Maybe the world got rekt by demons or higher Reiki worlds so he gave his young self the console cheat that leads the humanity a little. You know, during one game that took place in a close future the MC thought of visiting his future self but then dismissed the idea as he concluded that he definitely plays some game on the console and it would be a waste of time to travel there. So in the distant future he might have actually done that as a last resort.

[collapse]

Also, there's that tag "Polygamy." The harem only started forming at about 160+ chapter (two girls for now), and it's a super weird relationship that arose from misunderstandings (MC has to retrieve keys from Awakened people, and to do that, he has to touch them for the duration of some minutes when they're in sleeping state).

Spoiler

The first girl... big ego, high self-esteem, playful and pe*vert, ugh. Hoped she would never get out of the friendzone after she friendzoned MC herself and then was unheard of for dozens of chapters, but I guess not. The second girl is honest, diligent, lovely and developed true feelings for MC. Initially she didn't want to waste time on stuff like love because she was of a mindset that it would hinder her practice, but after leeching off MC's free meals which she spent in his company and getting her life saved on top of that, she becomes a newbie wife-in-training. She's the perfect gf material for MC and in my opinion more than enough for the romance part. Problem is, MC never saw any girls as his potential second half. I can see MC developing true romantic feelings for her in the future, but for any other girl? No way.

[collapse]

This novel is worth giving a shot. The plot is superb, comedy is rare but makes you laugh. It has its strong points and no cliches, but it suffers from poor execution at certain intersections (e.g. introduction of billions of side characters who are there mostly for these mini-game arcs and then become irrelevant or mentioned once in a blue moon, which hinders a lot of character growth, or the author skipping & skimming many parts of the games or interactions which could add to his word count and be very interesting had he given them place in the chapters). Nevertheless, it's still an above average novel. If LMGiP has 4.2 on novelupdates, while some other crappy novels like Games of the Underworld and The Boss Behind The Game have inflated overhyped ratings of around 4.5, then this novel deserves no less. <<less

As the tittle/abstract says, it's a story about a MC who gains abilities after completing "realistic" games. These games, once completed, are then fused to the reality of the MC and some of the secondary characters become part of this reality.

Spoiler

This concept is quite interesting, but it is also overly complicated, and the writting boring and frustrating:

    • For each world/game the MC plays, the author creates lots of random secondary characters and will spend ten times more chapters writting about them than about the MC. Thus, with all these news characters appearing/desappearing every chapters, it's a mess to remember them all, what's the point: they are all blend, it a huge waste of time.
    • The author has made his MC so much into mediocrity, that he needs to have other secondary characters to explain to the reader what's the purpose of showing the videos from the games to every body else. The MC doesn't get that there is a message behind each video. This could have been explained in a few lines after each party if the MC was using his brain a bit, but the author spends several chapters to explain it to us through the pov of a random dude, writting again and again about scenes/details of the game that we have read 10 times because the MC is also too bad as playing the games that he needs dezen of tries. It is so frustrating...
    • It also feels that the abilities gainned by the MC are never well used: the author make them so they never feel OP, which could be a good point, only if the MC wasn't so lazzy as using his brain. The MC, even with his cheat, feels boring and mediocre in everything he does...
      [collapse]
Conclusion: good concept, and the main plot is interesting, but it is filled by sloppy chapters in between with a MC full of mediocrity.

Story is alright. The premise, settings and world building are very good but author fails at the characters. None of the side characters have any meaningful growth development so far. Mini games are interesting when they begin but becomes a bit boring during mid stages. But the main reason I give three star for the novel is because of MC.

MC is not a smart person. Thankfully author explained it from the beginning. He likes video games and lazy. He is the type to quickly finish the work in order to... more>> enjoy. He has average iq and low eq. But the worst thing about him is that he is not the one in control. The cheat item, mini world game is the one in charge. MC is just a tool for it to achieve its purpose. Even the gifts he get from it are mostly for it to reach its purpose.

Luckily MC is slowly uncovering the problems. I hope MC can grow and the side characters as well as game characters will have more development later on. <<less

Interesting. Kinda a slow start, but as story goes on it gets quite interesting.

What the story is about : ... more>>
Spoiler

The MC receives a mysterious gaming console. On it there is a limited time free game, which he plays. But upon completion, on the next day he discovers that what he did in the game became reality. He also discovers people have started to gain superhuman abilities, which might or might not be related to the console. He himself can get abilities from the console as rewards.

[collapse]

There isn't many chapters out yet, but so far everything seems nice. The MC is well fleshed out, thinks and acts like a normal human being. With the trend nowadays, that's a rarity.

Would recommend checking this out. <<less

First of all, the rating of the novel has nothing to do with this.

I was just so moved at the end of an arc in the story. Man, let me tell you this. I found stories, long and short. But this arc really tickled my heart. I am just so eager that I turn into Machine Translation. I just don't know how to describe it.

Some of games played by him can be made into stories on their own and it will be rated as high. (By the way, I don't... more>> know if the other games are actually games)

The characters he made are just fillers but it is also entertaining. The real hooker is that when he is drag on the current game he is playing. As of right now, he is already affected by two games that has major influence in his life.

Spoiler

One, The Nine Tailed Fox.

Second, The Demon King

[collapse]

No, the games that affects the world is not counted. It is beneficial to all being in the world thus affecting the society thus affecting him.

Anyway, this is just a lighthearted review. If you like a progression base story, then this is for you. Truthfully the other stories are so fast paced that sometimes you suffocate when encountering a spoiler. This is not, it is a slightly foreboding feeling, gently urging you to think of what life could have been living a leisure life on a developing society focus on cultivation. <<less

Honestly this novel is average, but in my opinion, it's the worst thing I've ever read. The concept is meh once you realize MC gets nothing from the game itself. Only some tr*sh leftovers from the system. And he can't even like send a super pill or money to himself in the real life game. It's totally pointless to him plus the cheats barely count compared to the awesome abilities of his game characters.

As for the whole game translated into reality, it's purely fiction and nonsense since there is no... more>> precedent on how it occurs, nor is there any reaction from the commoners or evidence of dimensional fusion or whatever. It just happens because author said so.

What I actually hated about it was the wording and pointless trivia. At one point I read two pages worth of info about some guy who was sitting outside at night. After wasting 10 minutes on description about the starry sky and how fabulously magnificent it is, the author then said "but he didn't care about that"..... Then WHY DO YOU THINK WE WOULD CARE?

You can already tell what I mean from the chapter introducing cultivation. It was all pointless wording every Webnovel reader already knows.

The reason I said that it was the worst is because I usually skip the bad ones, but wasn't lucky enough to skip it. <<less

It started out as a good, interesting novel, with a salted fish MC. Than it turned into a harem. It took over the story. Still not a bad book, the characters are likeable.
