Understandable that most smut novels got non-sense plot... but author gave details that could give potential plot, but ended with lousy execution and too many unanswered questions with rush ending.

I find snu-snu scene just okay, they could just built chemistry instead of adding numerous issues & connections (forced plot twist). TBH, author destroyed chemisty momentum at middle part.

For leads, I find FL (Su Xiaoyu) and ML (Liu Wei) lacked depth. FL was frustratingly indecisive & pushover... initially, I thought ML supposed to be Yandere (based on chp1) but nah,... more>> author seemed to forget it too lol. Even ML's background was messily explained. <<less

After reading this, my conclusion is: it's better if the author made this story purely sm*t rather than making a plot that lacked details thus making the readers hanging. In this story, we got a mystery surrounded MC and ML's past but in the end, those weren't explained well, for example:

I also didn't like a weak-hearted woman type like our MC. She was so indecisive and only became firmer in the last chapter which was a bit irritating to read.
