Finally a great translation of this story, I'm patiently and blue balling waiting for the encounter of MC and Ariella. 5 stars because it's top notch and I love all the female leads, specially Miss Ariella who is great in the novel cover we see here, but better in the manwha.

This is a good light read smut novel. The MC, Geum Taeyang's personality is basically very similar to Rance, if you play the Rance series, you'll have no trouble reading this one,

Just like Rance, Taeyang is definitely not a good guy. He's unapologetically selfish and driven by his lusts, engaging in a variety of ethically questionable activities. However, his humor and surprising wholesomeness to his harem bring a layer of complexity to his character that keeps him from being utterly detestable.

This is not a novel for the faint of... more>> heart or for those seeking a vanilla romance. It pretty much delves deep into "Netori" theme, where the central theme revolves around the protagonist "stealing" women who are already in relationships. So, if you hate this type of theme, don't read it, and don't leave a bad review, because you're not the target audience here.

If you're comfortable with ethically grey protagonists, enjoy a good laugh, and don't mind a hefty dose of kinky explicit content, then this might be the perfect guilty pleasure read for you. Just be warned, Taeyang and his actions are definitely not for everyone.

Also... Don't trust the one who reviews this novel to have a memory loss plot, I don't know what he talked about at all. I think he read the wrong manhwa. <<less

I read the Manhwa a bit and I didn't like it at all.

I just don't trust the author, nor do I trust the characters. To draw from an analogy, I generally hate plots that develop from memory loss, because the person doesn't actually seem like the person that they used to, which devalues any previous character development since you know there's the potential that it could be for nothing. In that case, it's hard to say if the characters or their experiences matter. This novel is the same way, not... more>> in the memory loss aspect, but in the arbitrary situations that devalue any character development aspect.

I think character development requires some trust that the author is doing it with some intent towards the character, rather than for the plot or for some whim, and I don't trust that this is the case in the novel. <<less
