Fluffy, a bit bland, but a decent read nonetheless. The off-the-charts affinity with animals wasn’t really a thing, which was disappointing. Animals were only a peripheral topic that came up to make her look good. Their relationship was very stable and somewhat boring - don’t get me wrong, I don’t want a lot of angst, drama, and misunderstandings - but reading about a couple that is so in love and understanding all the time isn’t very exciting. Luckily it’s a short story so I didn’t mind finishing. The translation is... more>> good, though there are definitely some parts that smack of MTL. The FL is rather a little too perfect, being apparently so attractive that any desirable guy in the story wants to pursue her. I found her super shyness annoying, especially toward the end when she’s been with him so long that she should be accustomed to his teasing.

As with many C-novels, when they have s*x it’s often a little weirdly portrayed as if it is painful or dubious consent. It doesn’t bother me per se, but it is noticeable and probably will irritate some readers.

I get the feeling that many Chinese authors have no understanding of animals. I thought it was odd that the super pampered Samoyed would get distemper, since there is a vaccine for that, and it commonly given to dogs along with a few other things when they’re young..

I felt sorry that her mom turned out to be such a user, despite seeming somewhat ok before (after abandoning her kid, I mean)

This is a quite cliche story about arrange marriage turned into true love. ML fell quite fast although his first time meeting with MC was a bit unpleasant while it didn't take for MC to fall too (I mean, who could stand doting and gentle CEO who pampered you like a princess?).

This story had minimal conflicts. Even if there's any, it resolved quite fast without much drama. There were so many lovey dovey moments between MC and ML though but too much sugar also made the story a bit boring.... more>> The character setting also didn't help much because they're prety much the same from the beginning till the end (especially MC).

Anyway, read this if you want to read a sweet love story without much drama. <<less

So much fluff on this one 🥰

Story is short but well paced and the translation is quite good. I love that there was no dog blood drama and just mostly fluff. Thanks so much to the author and translator! Definitely recommended!

It is indeed a sweet romance story with very little drama.

I liked it a lot, but a few times I got the sensation that the MC did not like some of the intimate things they were doing or did them just for him. Listen, you NEVER have to feel pressured to do anything like that if you don't want to. In general, she seems to enjoy things, but... Without those scenes this would've been one of my favorites relaxed reads.

Sweet and fluffy. Well paced and enjoyable. All the characters are well-written and believable. It's a cheery feel-good romance story with plenty of fluff and good vibes. And the ML isn't a total asshat or cringe-stalker, which automatically makes this way better than most stories in this genre.

A good short romance novel.

Tiny plot holes, romance was kida fast but sweet.

Only thing I didn't like was how shy the MC is thru out the whole novel. She didn't get much character development.
