For dragons, blending in among humans while concealing their true identity is considered a form of entertainment—a game.

A Gold Dragon enrolls in an academy under the guise of learning herbology, using it as an excuse to indulge in his own game. Taking on the false identity of ‘Adrian Heather’, he eagerly begins his academy life.

However, his excitement is short-lived. He unexpectedly ends up sharing a dorm room with the esteemed Prince Mikhail—a situation that drastically alters his original plans.

Though his days with Mikhail turn out to be unexpectedly enjoyable, the Gold Dragon’s ultimate goal remains the same: to finish this game quietly and disappear.

And so, he does. By faking his own death, he vanishes from his friend’s life, believing the game to be over.

That is, until his friend summons him back with a wish…

Mikhail, now in possession of a dragon’s golden scale, stroked it lightly.

As if responding to the touch, the legendary Gold Dragon materialized before him.

“Summoner, I shall grant you one wish.”

But why did this dragon look exactly like Adrian Heather?

Suspicious, the prince demanded an explanation, but the Gold Dragon remained adamant in his denial.

“I merely manifested in the form the Summoner desired.”

After a brief moment of hesitation, Mikhail finally stated his one and only wish…

“I want to find Adrian Heather’s body.”

COMPLETED REVIEW, CH184 (extras not read yet)

I just completed this beautiful novel and I am happy to review it! I believe I don't regret buying the chapters, I am satisfied with the ending and I'm sure the extras will further please me as well. 4.5 in all honestly, I wanted this story to be longer and more depthful, but then my wallet would be shredded up so it all plays out well.

Adrian, the MC of this story, is indeed a very royal character. I really enjoyed how he treated... more>> the world and viewed the world in a truly dragon-like way (undisturbed by mortal considerations for the most part). he eventually learns to enjoy what he has as a person and not as a dragon though, after many trials alongside the ml. Mikhail, the ml, is like a brat who grows out of his brattiness to be adrian's most loyal puppy. not to say that he's actually as annoying or as whiny as one, just that he used to be pretty stubborn and irritated — fun to watch as the reader, and annoy as adrian. he isn't overbearing towards adrian, but ambitious in what he wants (both in love and war).

Their relationship is really cute, this is where the puppylike part plays out well for mikhail. they're frenemies at first, with a bad start, but mikhail eventually learns of his affection towards adrian with some cute wooing. adrian doesn't respond initially, but he learns to truly be involved with the mortal trivialities he previously didn't concern himself with. The contrast between a human and a dragon, one naturally loving and the other naturally unfeeling — learning how to love a dragon for the human and blurring the lines between races for the dragon, makes for a cute dynamic.

Had to knock off 0.5 of my real rating because of the pacing. I normally don't care too much, but honestly, the author seemed to have been in a hurry to meet deadlines. It didn't affect the story much at all, but I definitely would've enjoyed a longer dive into arcs... such as the final event, or even the school arc (but that one's just my personal taste for academy themes). I don't mind the reunion arc being short, it sometimes gets tedious when the MC is in hiding for too long. Hell, I would've wanted the author to make the main story 250 chapters and extend everything. The romance is subtle in the beginning, and really starts to bloom > mid-story for mikhail, and a bit deeper in for adrian. I definitely enjoyed the unspoken bromance before that though.

Please, if you are considering reading this, I suggest you to give it a try and see how you like it for yourself before rating. This was the first novel I've actually spent money on to read until the end lol. <<less
