Sorry for my bad English, but I will write my review regarding this story.

The only thing that I can say about this story is, MC IS A DUMB, s*upid, AND MORON!!! It's like author really want to made him like that. But trust me, you will cringe so hard for the plot.

I will not bother using spoiler, because mostly people already done with the dumb and s*upid MC

So, let me rephrase the synopsis. MC is 30 y/o that working as "ASSISTANT" or "COUNSELOR" to the Demon General Army. This nick... more>> name as "Dark Soldier" really missleading, because MC barely known how to fight because he weak. He train as young age, but he is so weak. Yes, when he was in demon army, his job like "handling food supply", "giving advice and strategies", "negotiation", "advisor", etc..

So after getting fired by demon army, he met with human girl, and finally he found out he actually a human. Thats why he can't use magic before, and thanks to the girls father, he finally can use magic and he became OP as f*ck.

Here the story became weird. MC now feel accepted as a human in this village, so he really want to live as one of them. And one of the big problem "mithril cave" that use to be a human but got taken by demon, need to be check. Turn out that cave is once his place to work as an advisor/negotiator. He solved the problem, and the mithril cave back to the human. One of his best friend from demon army have a mission about the cave, but because now it in hand of human, MC suggested his "DEMON ARMY" friend to buy the mithril from the human.

Wait, hold on.. In this world, Human and Demon is still in conflict. MC just get the mithril back to human. But he selling the mithril to the demon. WTF right? LOOOL.. Funny part is, MC even didn't have goals like "I want human and demon live in harmony", but he straight suggested to provide both side for the tools to war. Even more funny, people from the guild that handle that cave finally agree with MC s*upid logic. LOOOL..

Later we got time skip. MC married the girl that he met in the beginning, and have a son. He became major in the village. The hero party came to his village to ask for mithril weapon. The hero party still missing 1 more member, and they still looking. Finally they found out MC is strong and ask him to join, but MC refuse, because he already have a family. Here, The hero told the MC the story about the previous hero. Here is the peak of the moronic, s*upidity, and ret*rded MC begin. So the previous hero have story like this. He have a wife and a son. While he fighting demon, the demon attack his village where his wife and son reside. His wife dead in process and his "SON" got taken. Do you know what MC said? "I Don't believe it, demons are not like that, they are not cunning like that".. Me while reading this be like "FOR f*ck SAKE MC!! You literally just getting kicked/fired by the cunning and as*hole demon, and you still doubt this???".

On top of that, "LITERALLY" he is the only one "HUMAN" that live with "DEMON". Doesn't this story seems familiar with your situation??? But no, he never even doubt the demon. Especially the demon who took him in. I don't say he must believe, but with the simple situation like that, "The only human that live with demon" - "Demon took hero's son" can't you take a hint???

The more you read, the more s*upid the story is. I don't know though how the progress in LN. Because you know, sometimes WN can be different from LN. But, when I read this WN, I have enough of this shit. Trully.. LOL <<less

a good "light" novel with no dark background despite it is the era of human vs demon and so many "demon" and "dark" thingy in it.

MC is a kindhearted guy, I believe its because of how he was raised (by a demon lord). He was weak because he cant use magic but he make it up with his management skill thus he was trusted, praised and loved by many demons (including demon lords, and probably the demon king too).

His achievement incite jealousy to demon lord's son, so the first thing... more>> the demon lord's son do when he succeed his father (and became demon lord) is to fired MC.

MC leave demon lord army and met a girl (and save her?). Later he found out that he is human, so he can use human skills. He can use all types of weapons eventhough its rare for human to be able to use more than one. So thats his cheat-skill.

He decided to become adventurer and stay at the (girl's) village.

Please note that most demons are in good relationship with MC, in fact many of them are good. They don't change their view on MC even after they know MC is human. So there are good/bad demons and there are good/bad human, and MC treat both races equally. He treat good people (be it human or demon) with kindness and try to help them when they're in trouble.

Well, of course he end up being caught in the middle of human-demon conflict while trying to live a normal life.

ps. This story isn't about hatred and vengeance (he has no reason for both). Its story about a guy who has good friends (and family?) in both side of parties in conflict. <<less
