I read the translation up to ch 60, but decided to buy the original and MTL instead of waiting for the translation. I consider it well worth it.

This is a story that focuses on two things: the MC's growth, as an actor and as a person; and the scripts he's acting in. Both of which are a lot of fun. I think the author does a nice job of making the MC amazing but still human. I love how the MC's personality, which could seem too good to be true,... more>> becomes believable when paired with his trauma. Especially in the beginning, the MC doesn't care about something bad happening to him not because he's a perfect good person, but because he's a broken person who doesn't understand why he should be upset in the the first place. Seeing the MC healing, and growing is really uplifting, and the author keeps the plot moving using the scripts to add excitement instead of unnecessary melodrama.

The supernatural side of things is pretty low-key, but it is explained and wrapped up well in a side story which is nice.

Overall this is a gentle story that makes your day brighter, but still has enough action to keep you excited. <<less

The acting scenes in this are very well written, particularly the emotions. Though the focus is on the scene rather than the acting. So far I'm not sure that the rest of the story exists except to be a vehicle for those scenes though - as a way to bundle a bunch of separate short scenes.

There is an AI in this story. It is very odd. It kind of feels like it exists so that the MC, and story, can skip over any scheming to solve problems, motivation to act,... more>> etc. And instead just ask the AI and *bam* have it be solved and keep the story light. Not a big fan of it, just seems lazy.

Currently the story outside of the acting scenes just seems to hit the same beats as every other acting story without much of interest happening.

Will definitely continue to read based on the acting scenes though and I hope that the main story will improve and show itself to be more than just a copy-paste scene vehicle. <<less
