Of almost all the systems I've read about, if I had to pick one for myself in a wuxia world this would be one of the top choices. Unashamed, unstoppable, OP badass. He basically has a mobile respawn point with revival at his corpse 3 seconds after death.

This story is a celebration of raw arrogant strength triumphing over unreasonable arrogance and malice, without the cycle of 50+ chapters of buildup after hitting a roadblock most other wuxia indulge in. <<less

MC seems to be totally undying, whenever he "dies", he revives and gets EXP so MC totally has no risk, he could just rush to the Final Boss, die thousands of times and finally kill it. I don't think I need to explain why this isn't interesting.

Well, the title doesn't lie, his system is really overpowered, he is near indestructible from the start (rapidly healing wounds and a strength boost), instantly learns strong moves, performing actions can't burn stamina fast enough as his body upgrades so fast the cost becomes negligible.

I'm actually cool with all that, what I'm not cool with is how literally everything is skimmed over. Seemingly nothing is worth the author's time to put into detail, character interactions, training, combat, sceneries, everything is condensed down like you're reading a synopsis or watching a... more>> trailer.

Bad guy found, killed in one hit, onto next town. Seriously the guy who slaughtered his entire family is introduced and killed in the span of less text than this review, and never brought up again.

I actually have no issues with the story and pacing of the novel itself however the translation makes the novel utterly unreadable - names are interchanged sentences apart, the names of the cultivation realms continue to change e.g Earth Astral Realm = Earth Profound Realm etc. With a few other versions of the same realm leading to more confusion.

But my biggest issue with the novel is how utterly nonsensical it is with how the names and pronouns are switched between, the MC (Ye Fan) gets interchanged with Mo Fan etc... more>> a few times. The story is still readable but as a reader we shouldn’t have to infer which character is acting - it’s quite obvious that there’s no editor or proofreaders.

Of course, this is just my opinion and I’ll probably still continue reading to pass the time but for those who like consistency this isn’t the novel for you ? <<less

the pacing is honestly way too fast that there is more slaughtering done in a single chapter than there are in the first arc of a hit-series.

The fact that he resurrects upon death reflects why each chapter is relatively simple, short and plot-wise... dumb.

The story itself feels like someone keeps spamming the skip cutscene button and we move on to the next point on the map of a train wreck.

Average. Though it's really fast paced. Protagonist is annoying as hell, if you ask me, but well. Comes with every OP transmigrating hotblooded MC. (I don't even know where you got the tag of cold protagonist from lol) If you want to read some junk food wish fulfillment, you want to be here.

this for the most part is a decent 5/10 - 6/10 novel for me, some parts could be more detailed but I dont care too much about it thus far..

there are main two things that annoy me about this so far, one is the site it is on and two is the translation quality.
the site uses "coins" and I basically had to grind through loads of s**t apps to earn coins to read it, the translation... its certainly better than a machine translation but it has flaws, its naming of the cultivation levels imo are pretty crap, here are the first 4. [Body Tempering > Earthly Astral > Heavenly Dipper > Fish Dragon/ichthyosaur (it's used these both) ] point being to me it feels almost like they have just given up with the realm names, I mean.. Fish dragon realm?? wtf. Sometimes the novel will refer to girls by him/he/his and guys as her/she/hers and now im getting further into the 'locked' chapters I feel like the translation quality has been dropping. im hoping it will atlest stay understanable, but there have already been parts I have had to ignore as I dont know what they were trying to communicate.

also just because I find it s*upid im going to quote a characters reaction to his son dying (maybe it will convey my point about the translation but ill blank some details)

now for the record his son is not called nebula, its not a technique, so as far as I can tell his reaction to his sons death is to randomly shout Nebula! and then lash out at the MC. the later I get but im pretty sure the former is just a bad translation

now for a TL;DR
it's not bad but the translation quality seems to be dropping as it goes on and the website its on locks everything behind an annoying coin sytem, so while im enjoying it for the most part I wouldn't recommend it.

If u want to read a good novel, this won't cut it.

The problems mentioned by other reviewers are correct. However, they are a bit too harsh.

It's basically a face slapping story where MC only keeps showing his OPness. It's fine if u just wanna browse through some OP stuff at super speed, without paying too much attention.
