I was hooked into this serise by the novel's description. It has a potential even without r18 contents. What met later was a total disappointment.

There're many places I thought it could do better, but it still fell flat when executing them. The main problem in my opinion is character development. Since this story follow many japanese traditional novel with first-person storytelling. Which is a challenge in itself. Unfortunately, this story failed to make it good.

The story focus on two people, Ryotaro, as a male lead and Suzune, as a female... more>> lead. While it's not bad if you come only for romance. The romance part in itself is not interesting at all. The story doesn't give enough details for female lead to have enough chemistry with male lead. For character's depth, we also don't know what Suzune think of Ryotaro. We only see it from the surface (e.g. She blushes). Bluntly, they're one-dimenional. So it's hard to put myself into the novel. <<less
