This story is both very boring and very odd.

What's especially horrendous however is the action/combat. He can't use a sword and has to go barehanded, but he makes up for it with his amateur boxing. In a fantasy story with magic and monsters... the best combat you see is how everyone loses their minds at how they have never seen boxing before. VERY strange.

There isn't any sense of urgency either since a talking slime makes him essentially indestructible. This doesn't help considering that the main character is extremely boring... more>> as well.

Even when using magic, it just makes his skin tough which is a good thing since it allows the author to focus all his efforts into writing about the main characters amateur boxing skills. Thank god for that.

Overall, I became a professional boxer after reading this story. We love boxing.

Very underwhelming so far, all reasons to hate the MC are so nonsensical. For example his childhood friend for most his life just left him and despised him because his sister told her side of the story (if you can even call it "her side of the story"). That's all it took for her to leave her friend who stuck with her when she was at her weakest, really, just talking apparently. Didn't even bother to try to ask for his side of the story even though they've been friends... more>> forever and should know his character, but nope just one talk with his sister and he's a liar. That's just one character, his family have even far less logical reason to dislike their own talented son, and don't even get me started on his swordsman teacher.

It just seems like the author can't bother to build up actual reasons to hate the MC, because honestly how can people who spent time with the previous body not know his character is like, but one bad thing happened and all of a sudden you're some as*hole who is the biggest villain in the world. Its just lazy writing, and that's saying something in a genre of villain body swap. At least give me more logical reason for people around him to actually hate him rather than this BS where everyone in that world seems to have extensive trauma to the head. <<less

"My modern sports are better than martial arts used in warfare against armed opponents and monsters." Would have been fine if it wasn't about half the translated content so far. Most of the rest is about how awful everyone was towards the main character. The main character wasn't even a professional boxer, he just learned it as a hobby for a short period of time...

The original story's protagonist is... unsuitable as a protagonist, not even suitable as a villain, from the POV I saw she seemed more like a random... more>> arrogant young master who gets defeated and leaves the story after 3-4 chapters. Not very interesting as someone who should be important...

The pacing is messed up. The start is standard: introduces the main character and the world, says why the guy needs to do what he needs to do, he starts working towards it, then suddenly four chapters of masturbating over modern boxing.

Aside from those negatives, it feels like a fairly standard entry into the "reincarnated as the villain" genre. There is some mystery about why everyone started hating the main character, but I don't want to read on just to see that everyone changes their minds and falls in love with him just because he's at the level of an amateur boxer. <<less

Sitting at 125 chapter seems to be fairly short and sweet, I don't know how it ends but the beginning is rather interesting you would think heroines of a Yuri game shouldn't take interest in a guy so I'm curious how the author plans to make it happen...

By chapter 8 we spend a whole chapter teaching this rando martial arts techniques so I'm not holding my breath for a good pacing but I'd say is fairly engaging and you might want to check it out if the premise catches your... more>> eye. <<less
