Charles Ryan, a dragon, guarded the dragon island every day until he reached adulthood and fulfilled his obligation to capture the kingdom’s most beautiful princess.

But before the little milk dragon crossed the sea, he was swept away by the huge waves and arrived in a continent he had never seen before.

Then he was detained by a particularly strange person.

The man had an arrogant expression, his black hair was long and reached his waist, his dark eyes were like the eyes of the undead and he wore weird clothes that he had never seen before and had immobilized him with a single touch.

Jiang Wuyi: What are you?

Charles: I am a dragon!

Jiang Wuyi: Lies.

Charles: I’m really a dragon. Look at my wings when I spread it out, they’re bigger than a ship.

After saying that, the person in front of him disappeared. The little milk dragon raised his head on instinct and found that the sky has darkened and then he saw a claw that was bigger than a ship!

The eastern dragon swimming above the clouds watching everything: I am the dragon.

Oh my darling little fluffy baby MC is so adorable!! He is so cute and innocent but in a funny way. The little cinnamon roll is so naïve that it leads to hilarious situations, which are further enabled by ML as he unleashes this little calamity on everyone.

For example, he loves playing his suona (high pitched Chinese trumpet), but is absolutely tone deaf. Nonetheless, ML leads him to believe that he's super skilled so he proceeds to unleash spiritual attacks on everyone around them. He even tortures the God of Music with it, playing it for so long that the God literally throws down a surrender flag. Too bad young!ML spills the beans later, and MC realizes that he's been lied to.

He also constantly mishears words because of Chinese nuances. Like when they first meet, ML says his violation is "worthy of death, " but MC thinks he's gonna "turn [me] into a pig". And when they see some gu worms, ML mishears it as "drums."

Little dragon also cannot grasp the concept of Ancient garb and is hopeless at using chopsticks, despite his best efforts.

Because MC is a hybrid red/silver dragon, he was abandoned as an egg as the competing forces will eventually kill him. On the other hand, ML is a half human, half Azure dragon who has similarly been abandoned by his predecessors.

It's revealed that the elders of the dragon clan conspired to kill his parents and, on the eve of the Dragon God Competition, revealed his half-human heritage in order to blackmail him into conceding defeat. Then, they trapped him in the City of Dragons because it requires the blood of an Azure dragon to remain prosperous.

Together, they go on a journey to help ML regain his powers. But actually, it's mostly so MC can play. Play! Play! Play! He likes anything that is big, beautiful, and sparkly!

However, MC doesn't stay naïve and innocent forever. There is a touch of sadness at the end that forces MC to grow up and take on responsibilities.

ML tells MC to wait for him to come back, then "dies." When he comes back, MC has grown into a responsible dragon, while ML becomes the childish, spoiled one.

The ending was a tad rushed and I feel the author could have given more explanations for many of the plot points, but I will give it a pass because MC is such a cutie baby. <<less

Frustrating.

"Naive protagonist" doesn't cut it, MC has the mental capacity of a small child despite being 100 years old.

ML is a sadistic, scheming bastard who hurts MC basically for fun and turns him into a s*ave.

The level of abusive behaviour is way above what I can tolerate between two people who are meant to fall in love, especially when one of them is mentally a kid, the Stockholm syndrome is strong with this one.

Hard pass.

This novel is pretty good so far with pretty decent translation that admittedly has some mistakes, but none too bad.

The main character is named Charles Lean, he is a half-breed fire (?) dragon who doesn't have an inheritance and is almost an adult. (Being 100 years old as a dragon makes one an adult.)

His dragon form's colour is crimson with black lines*, a horn and bat-like wings. (*said in ch.1 but in ch.2 it's magma-like lines ?)
In human form he has golden hair, red pupils and a pair of dark red horns hidden underneath his bangs.

The Male Lead is named Jiang Wuyi, he is an Eastern dragon (no need to say more as it's in the summary) and is supposeably the only dragon in the world. (His element is unknown as of now.)

His dragon form's colour is blue and in human form as stated in the summary; has waist length black hair with similar black coloured eyes.

This is really good so far! I found the raws by going to the table of contents on Nan's (subpar) Translations, and if you're reading on your phone through Google chrome, then Google translate will pop up and you can translate the chapters to English. Which surprising is really easy to read, and reaches the level of a translator who's able to fluently speak both English and Chinese, but this is just their first time translating. And also surprisingly, it's waaaaayyyyy better than the MTL. But it's a pity that... more>> you can only read up to chapter 22, and the other chapters are locked behind a pay wall. But anyway, Charles is so cute, snd oblivious most times, but it doesn't create awkward situations. They turn out funny and cute. And the elder dragon, was a bit domineering at first, and mean to Chateks. But then he became more doting and possessive. But not extreme possessiveness, only possessiveness to the point where he he doesn't want people to touch Charel's, see any exposed skin on his body except his face, and gets jealous when Chareks interacts with other people, but won't actively try and make people stop interacting with Charles. All in all, 10/10 would recommend. But i'd be great if a translator were to pick this up. (Preferably from chapter 23) bc just by reading a few paragraphs of the MTL, my brain already hurts lol. <<less

This is ridiculous, the way the ML treated MC is just downright degrading. Maybe because i’m still in the early phase of the story but I don’t really like the way ML is treating MC right now ://

ML, you found that the person you suspected to be a fake dragon turns out to be a true one and the next thing that comes to your messed up mind is to treat them like a disposable pet whom you can just casually hurt??

Very fun story. Yeah, MC was very naive in the beginning but later he eventually grew up and matured. He isn't s*upid either, just ignorant at the start.

ML at first was a typical cold sadistic dude but even he eventually changed to be more caring, even somewhat childish and I think that was very interesting.

Some people might be turn off by the bumpy start but I think the story is totally worth it.

at first he did come off as very cruel and uncaring. One time, he almost killed a girl out of jealousy. Later, we learned that he was actually a softhearted person, but as they said, no good deeds goes unpunished. He even tried to kill himself multiple time but failed since he is immortal after all. All and all, he had a tragic backstory but in the end, it doesn't really matter, at least to him.

The side characters are also very interesting. Some of them do just disappear without the author mentioning what happened to them but most of them are very integral to the plot and even stay until the end of the novel.

All in all, 5/5 story for me. Why does this story has such low rating is beyond me but whatever. <<less

very cute, the novel impressed me a lot, I can't say anything about the plot but it didn't disappoint me either, but the romance 10/10, it was very cute and I liked the MC, he wasn't the typical spoiled child who never does anything in the plot and it's just there to be cute, this MC was strong even though it almost didn't show why the ML always protected him, he wasn't a fool either, just naive. In the end it was a good novel.
