However, the Princess saw this and ordered Naserbert to marry Agnes as punishment.

Isn’t it terrible to marry me as a punishment? Look, he seems to hate it too. Wait, he doesn’t?

This is a story about an unfashionable noble and a duke’s son, who grow closer to each other.

I've MTL'd the entire story so I can safely say this is a fun story! Our heroine thinks of herself as a useless unattractive person, so it's quite fun to see her completely misunderstand how people become attracted to her. Our hero is a capable person who's happiest while working, so seeing the two of them falling madly in love while deeply enjoying the work they're doing is deeply satisfying. And watching our antagonists learn that actions have consequences and that in the long run they really don't *matter* to... more>> our hero and heroine is very enjoyable. It doesn't do anything new, but if, like me, you like this kind of thing, you will find it is exactly the kind of thing we like. <<less

This story is JUST the cutest. It's the kind I reserve for when I'm having a terrible day because the attitude and sheer FUN of this story is just wonderful.

Agnes has always been treated like she's s*upid and unimportant, and Nasel is the kind of person who is driven to do EVERYTHING well, and the two of them are the perfect combination for the situation they end up in. Nasel gladly gives Agnes the appreciation and support she needs, and she gets to use her intelligence, skills, and critical thinking... more>> in a way that benefits an entire territory and turns it around. These two are so sweet to each other, and it warms my heart to watch their relationship develop. Nasel being drunk and repeating "Cute... Agnes is cute" is s*upidly adorable, and Agnes never notices anyone being mean to her because she is quite literally fascinated with everything and having entirely too much fun to be upset about ANYTHING. She's a complete Pollyanna, and I LOVE her outlook. <<less

Grade:

8/10

TLTR:

good story, the ancient tale of betrayal in the court, but my god, how I love this one, it’s sweet in all the right places, fluffy on the beat moments. Personally, the only main drawback is that the story lacks a sense of time, it feels as if things happen one after other, and the motivation of the villain is quite s*upid, also, how the ladies of the court are so gullible, no matter the amount of charm that doofus called prince has
