“He’s sick.”

Mom cried when she heard the doctor’s words.

I didn’t understand why she was crying.

In order to keep her from crying, I pretended to be normal and recovered from my illness.

I became friends with my classmates, and when we went to karaoke, they disappeared, leaving me and girl behind.

I saw the girl being made fun of in the classroom, and for the first time, I took an interest in people. I tried to get involved with the girl myself.

My childhood friend, who had been making fun of me behind my back, stopped me.

“Hey, don’t turn into what you used to be!”

“—-I’m a convenient childhood friend who pays the bills. You said you didn’t like me because I was annoying. Then stay the hell away from me.”

A coming-of-age love story about a sober girl who’s a hidden novelist, and a guy who loves nothing more than drawing pictures, both of whom are trying to become manga artists!

I do not know what caolsei is talking about, I do not know what he had expected from the synopsis but If he had read and seen this type of story more than a billion times could you link them to me because this is pretty good, and I'll make it a simple explanation,

This is as what the synopsis says, the MC who is emotionally broken cannot feel empathy nor connect with other people, it's like depression and and being an introvert combined to make him, he's a man... more>> who basically just flows where the river brings him, he doesn't care about any other people's opinion about him I and I also tried to find what exactly was stereotypical but other than

it's the only one I have seen.

But I've found no problems with that what so ever, insecure people exist everywhere, I don't know if caolsei knows this, but that stereotype of fat and lonely is even often used in TV shows for comedy, maybe he doesn't watch TV..?, Now the supposed 1D character.. Wow he expected character development 3 chapters in, what is this, a speedrun? He definitely didn't think nor even use his smooth ape brain to make this, I mean if anyone rated this early on something that's not a oneshot, either they're new to novels and don't know how to properly handle reviews and it's effects, or are simply idiots.

This is not a bad novel, it's entertaining to say the least and I'm sticking to that, I won't add more to my review due to the fact it's only 3 chapters, but caolsei please never expect a web novel to be very spectacular, they're different from published and well edited light novels, if your puny smooth brain still can't take in what I'm saying, then wait a few years and re read this

Story: copy pasted from what has been done by others a billion times before. -1.

Characters: boring, uninspired, stereotypical and 0 dimensional. -1.

World and setting: see "Story" section. -1.

Writing skill and style: no comment. -2.

A title is not a synopsis, damn you Japanese morons: -∞.

Why the hell is there dialogue in a synopsis? -∞. Conclusion:

Final Rating: -2∞-5/5, rounded to 1/5 with novelupdates magic.

I really liked the story. The characters are plastic and complex. The writing style is excellent, there are no unnecessary words - I read it in the original language as well - the story is fluid and dynamic.
A short story, but a complete one nonetheless.

The ending was exquisite~😌🤌

For a short story, the timeline wasn't rushed and was focused on the present with a few flashbacks to have a clear understanding of what was going on.

The romance almost felt like it was a subplot but that's understandable because the whole point of the story is ... more>>

that MC is not able to perceive empathy as most do. But it's there, especially in the end. 😏 (I'm not sure if this is considered a spoiler since this isn't mentioned in the synopsis, it's more like hinted)

Not much drama since MC didn't care but was eventually solved.

There were some chapters that were a bit hard to understand what was going on since it was mainly dialogue and short sentences. Also, some characters have similar names and it was confusing me 😅

Overall this story was about the MC's development with the help of the FL.
