27-year old veteran adventurer Aiga James was once the center of the Hero’s party. However he specialized in the [Training] skill which is no longer necessary now that all his teammates have grown strong. Unable to keep up with his companions, he was forced to quit the party.

However, because he had made a great contribution to the party till now, he received a small「Fief」as a retirement bonus.

As my heart felt the loneliness of leaving the life of Adventure and I headed to my territory, I had a thought after seeing the seven villages with their 2500-strong population. My thoughts are the following… I wonder if I train these people, won’t my territory become strong enough that we could even defeat the demon lord?

I'm sry I cant take the dumbshiet that the MC done at chapter 5... ill try not to spoil it since ill talk in broader term.

MC ask a dude to help him... the dude tell him maybe then fking Stab him in the back for a substantial lost of funding... the morning, the dude say sry I stab you cause I think you are a dirt bag that I dont want to associate with but it seem like you got cash so wana let me in on that?

MC yah im... more>> a dirt bag but I got some extra joint you want some? it alright if you back stab me... plz I need your help to stab me a few extra time since you guess it right that im a dirt bag!!!

i think it kinda go like that at least that what I see, it alright if a MC get betray and try to take revenge it normal... it not alright when they suck it up and think it ok to be betray by other since it their fking fate...

imagin yourselves go to work and at the end of the month they not giving you the paycheck because it fate that you not getting paid and work for free... then you continues work the next month hoping that you would get the paid check... (you might with plot armor) <<less

I dumped this one at ch4 because the author could not make up his mind about what he was writing. I was expecting a Swords and Magic with monsters and demon lords, but apparently, this world has advanced 19th and 20th century technology like pre-rolled cigarettes that the masses use, ashtrays, glass dishes and glasses that everyone uses (not just royalty and nobility), they even have tonic for their gin and tonic, steel ships that run on at least coal, and uses air horns to hear over the engines and... more>> in the sound proof bridge, has a dining hall instead of a mess hall, billiards which is only able to work on an ocean liner, even printed business cards.....

The author of this one did absolutely no homework. I couldn't tell if I was reading The Titanic, Wall Street, or an old Humphery Bogart script, or what? It was everything BUT a sword and magic fantasy with monsters and demon lords.

So, dumped like a cheating girlfriend - because I really do feel cheated here. Here's lookin at you kid. <<less

Really like the premise, different from other "kicked out of the hero party" theme, this one focused on the realistic side. This one does not antagonizing the hero, rather explaining the problem of how dangerous it is if the MC continue adventuring with the Hero party as the danger level of the future quests would just making him killed instead if he continue adventuring with them.

I don't know what the comments below are talking about. The slow this dude is mentioning is the world building that's taking place to help immerse u into the story. The other one with the 1st 5 chps is basically like 4 pages of a manga, it's a conversation sure but it really does give a nice mature feeling between friends not like the betrayal cliche u see often but it does make u question MC if u don't read more. The thing with author was a part everyday or... more>> chp every 2 days and u can see flags being raised and who harem members are or will be. Overall very nice read with good pacing and world building where u keep clicking next and definitely has potential as I reached the point where he's building his unit? I guess soldiers work at this point maybe garrison. Hmm improvements might be maybe the scale was too big with 7 villages and not a well fuctional medium village with a few skilled workers and 3 well positioned villages (it looks good as stats but story uhhh) and I definitely like to see how he expands his home (city building style). <<less

Boring beginnings. Expect a really slow start to this novel and go in only if you have the patience for a slow burn.

We're at chapter 15 and he barely started any territory development yet. It has been 15 chapters with lots of sightseeings, describing of meals and landscapes. It could be worse, like longs expositions, although there are some of those as well.

The chapters are also short and the translator started chopping them into 2 after they got a little less short. If you want something to follow chapter by... more>> chapter, you might give this one a pass.

The MC also sounds a little too boring and passive, taking offense from a merchant and still working with him later. But then again, there's barely any character interactions aside from that so... yeah.

Anyways, it's hard to judge the entire novel with only 15 short chapters that were mostly the MC sightseeing around places. I'll update the review once more chapters have been released, but it kind of hard to recommend this one right now. For now I just hope things pick up and the story actually begins. <<less

Im really enjoying this one so far but am a bit frustrated with the MC. He was a key member of the party who built it and personally trained every member from the ground up using his unique skills that allowed him to determine peoples talents and help them develop their skills. Unfortunately his skill allows him to learn any class ability but only to intermediate level abilities (Jack of all trades master of none situation). At the beginning it made him the strongest of the party but once they... more>> progressed to their advanced abilities they left him in the dust.

The party leader and his best friend started the party with MC when they left school and MC held his hand until he unlocked his hidden potential as the hero. Happily informed the MC he isnt needed anymore as the party wants to move to max level quests and he would only bring them down. None of the party contest this decision, well except

for one member who abandons the party to go find MC but then ditches him again soon after to rejoin the hero

What truly annoys me about the MC is how selfless he is. MC will figuratively cut his own throat to make life easier for those around him.

He knew that the hero was planning well in advance. He broke up with his girlfriend (a key member of the party) because he knew that 1. She would leave with him or force them to keep him thereby 'holding back' the parties development. 2. He knew that the hero was also in love with his GF and wanted to give the back stabbing goon a chance to be with her

MC is now using his unique skills to strengthen the people in his new territory with the aim of making a fighting force stronger than his previous party while increasing the quality of the land he rules by assigning the right people to the right jobs. Personally hoping that MC strengthens his ties with the people of his land and closes the book on the party that cut him loose. <<less

The MC is just too pitiful to watch. There is nothing wrong with 'jack of all trades", but his wimpiness and lack of tact and strategic mind make him a boring character. One of the more intriguing series would be The Most Notorious "Talker" Run The World's Greatest Clan, despite its MC being weak in individual combat.

No real proper rating yet, but it’s broken the trope so far. The MC leaving the party, calling it a dismissal is a bit ehh. More like a retirement. It’s a lot more complicated than just being fired. Adult stuff that would make the unemployed NEETs depressed.

To be honest I cannot see that much potential in this Novel. The world building is rough. Much rough. The MC is going to develop a fief but I cannot see him doing anything extraordinary from an ordinary nobel. He does have some connections from his adventure days and he does have some cheat like training abilities however by far the development of this Novel is not so interesting.

However, the story represents the real human society much more than a regular fantasy Novel does so some people might find it... more>> a good read. However, since that is not enough for me, I will just give it a single star.

And I also think a Novels translation should not just stop like this in only 29 chapters stage because irregularities in Novel translation does affect reader interest quite a lot. If the translator wants to continue this Novel, I would like him/her to make a schedule and keep releasing chapter more regularly. <<less

This is fine. It's a typical story of adventures, magic, dumbass MC and waifus. But it's okay, I mean, this story aims to tell us about the MC an his daily life, he's building his reign and maybe he will become OP? Idk, but beyond the development of characters or the story, within what we consider the routine of a slow-life story, I think it gives us exactly that.
