Short stories are meant to leave you with a single dominant impression. This one left me with boredom.

At first the writing was killing the story. It was positively wooden and lifeless. They were of the form "Subject verb object" rinse and repeat. It was boring but comprehensible. As the story went on the prose became much more enjoyable to read, while at the same time the information content dropped. I wound up scratching my head.

The story had serious flaws that just got worse.... more>> Why was the MC thrown out of her family. How did she become a part of the family in the first place? How did she lose everything when shoved out? Supposedly she had skills, degrees and a career.

This story is incomplete. Vague beginning and end so suddenly. When I read it, feels like its an author's brainstorming notes of events instead of a story.

Dont understand the situation and plot. Since no further backstories, I cant empahthize with the characters either.

Good thing its short or else it can be a waste of time. I've read better books with shorter chapters. So thats not an excuse.

I like the concept of the story though. And efforts from translator.

I feel subtle about this. For now the story is mysterious and I'm touched by MC. Also, my eyes have gone bad, the ML seems cute.

Update: it got more confusing but then it was wrapped up neatly. The MC got more likable and my eyes have not gone bad, ML is truly cute. It's not an amazing story, but given how short it was I am satisfied with the sweet feeling it left me.

I was bored. It reads like a first draft that someone has set up with plans to later put in scenes of interest and action. It is definitely slow slice of life. I have no idea how to review it since even though I literally just read it, I only have a vague impression of the characters. MC was a street kid that a rich family picked up to raise for a while, but never did the legal paperwork and let her date their son. Then they had her leave... more>> the house and now she does art on the street for people passing to watch. The former bully of her sweetheart that she used to fight with is taking to her. It's short & fluffy, just that the way it started is not as great as the end for me. But I love it overall.

Hmm it's the kind of story that should've been fleshed out further to make any strong impact. It really was too short but the setting was too prolonged. So in the end the whole thing feels confusing and abrupt. But the premise itself is okay and would have made an interesting read if it was a full novel.

It was a good short story but like the other reviewers said, the other skipped too much details. I could feel that ML liked MC he's just too tsundere to admit it. But MC's side isn't explained too much since this story has more of the ML's pov than MC's. But it's still a good 30min read imo.

Honestly, the premise of this story was quite good. It really had a potential to become a memorable story but too bad, the author was a bit too rushed to finish the story. Many details was left unsaid and the relationship between MC and ML wasn't really well described. I could feel that ML liked MC but not the way around so when MC suddenly wanted to be together with ML, I'm a bit dumbfounded because I felt that she still loved his ex boyfriend before.

I like this book a lot! It's just too short. Hope the author lengthen it more, maybe 20 chapters or so. I'm annoyed that she doesn't know till the end that the necklace actually from him. He also doesn't know that she actually like him from the beginning.

Anyway this book really suit me who don't like comolicated story with too much misunderstanding, wishy-washy characters, or weird dog blood plot.

It's a wonderful novel but too short I wished if it were a little elaborate but this story is really awesome for a light read
