Ed was given the crazy test of having to get expelled from 100 Hero parties in 100 different worlds before he could return to his original world. Finally a mysterious and divine entity said that he had achieved all the conditions to return to his original world.

However, as a final condition he is asked “Look at the fate of one of these exile worlds after you left.” and he is shocked by what he sees.

“Okay, I’ll do it! I’ll go down to these 100 worlds again and be banished with a good feeling!” Ed takes on a new challenge to make full use of the super-powerful “expulsion skills” that were granted each time he was exiled, and this time ensure they all have happy endings.

Only this time he is accompanied to these 100 worlds by a former companion…

    Not terrible. Volume 1 is a solid story all on its own and from what I can see of the story, it looks like each volume will be an arc in a different world. I'm down for 100 sequential hero party isekais where the former "banished" member is now pretty much a demi-god who can do anything.

    There hasn't been much tension from our MC's perspective, but I'm looking forward to seeing all of the different hero parties. Their individual stories and their relationships with the MC, both past and present,... more>> make for an enjoyable read. Nothing groundbreaking. As long as you know what you're in for you'll have a good time.

    Ranking: One step above "hot garbage". Hot leftovers? How about: A drunken 2AM kitchen creation that tastes great, but looks and makes you feel like death? That works. <<less

    This is a story that starts with a generic, common sounding premise but quickly turns into a very original story after the first couple of arcs.

    The author has basically taken dozens of different story ideas for fantasy worlds, heroes and conflicts and put them together in a sort of multiverse. This series is like 'Cautious Hero' where our MC and his companion visit 100 different worlds where they have to help the 'Hero' of that world defeat that world's 'Demon King'.

    But this quest can take very different forms from one... more>> world to the next. One world has a generic setting where the Hero is a warrior who goes on a quest to the Demon King's castle. But in another one the 'Hero' is just a blacksmith who wants to make a sword that can one day (maybe long after his death) be capable of defeating the Demon King. In another world the Demon King is already dead for centuries and the 'hero' is just some ordinary person on a quest to prevent his resurrection.

    In some worlds the Heroes, even in the 'happy ending' don't actually manage to kill the Demon King in their lifetime but advance mankind's cause in various ways. In others worlds there is no war against demons and nobody knows if a 'Demon King' even exists, so the MC has to figure out who or where they are and how they relate to the designated Hero's personal struggles.

    Finally there is an overarching story that only becomes clear after many such story arcs, about why the MC is doing this quest. <<less
