I’ve ended up inside the novel I always enjoyed reading.

But, this is a side story that happens after the main story ends!?

Don't be fooled by the previous two reviews, this one is far from a 5-stars novel. Of course, you might enjoy it, but there are several reasons as to why I didn't enjoy them. One of them is r*pe. If you're not into that, then you should know that you will be forced to read 3 chapters straight of another character r*ping and mu*dering some random girl. It's not just brushed off, the whole process is narrated in detail.

The main character is not likeable either. He is too pe*verted, unable... more>> to control his urges and pretty much acts like a beast. That would be fine if it was just him, but aside from one character, everyone else in the world is detestable. The development was so eye-rolling I found myself skipping most of it until I decided to drop it.

Again, maybe you'll enjoy this, so try for yourself, but I'm leaving this for those who might be fooled into thinking this is some masterpiece. <<less

This novel is a masterpiece, a great take of martial arts without having to make the immortality stuff all the focus, for once we actually focus on the MARTIAL aspects of stuff and author has one wonderful take in it. Later MC finds ways to travels between words reaching also fantasy type worlds with magic, and it's interesting seeing him mixing and fusing both aspects.

The most surprising aspect is that despite the massive harem of 20+ women, each one of the heroines has depth and a reason to fall for... more>> the MC, they don't just fall for him, but go through a whole mental mess to get there, from hatred/understimation to corrupted lust to innocent/obssessive love. And while some are unforgivable MC just don't simply add them to his harem but makes sure they work hard to be worth it.

Definitely worth the read and the patience. <<less

The fights are OK. The villains commit atrocities like sn*ff without care. Heroines are also not safe from being killed off and any woman described is at risk for r*pe from the villains.

The most detailed s*x scene in the first 30-some chapters was almost two full chapters of an assault culminating in sn*ff.

Since it was the villain, I skipped through that crap to get to any consensual scenes and actual plot but the ever-present risk of it to main characters coupled with adding additional villains that seem little better just... more>> makes me unwilling to continue on.

There are some interesting concepts that promise to be explored such as people in-universe becoming cognizant of the protagonist correction of the main villain and working to overcome that but it just shows too much from the perspective of the villains doing abominable acts for me.

Oh, there's also little promise of the MC being able to satisfyingly defeat villains for the most part too. He does get stronger but the main villain is already the strongest in the universe and still has the protagonist correction abilities. At least not for wayyyy down the line it seems like his atrocities will continue. So if you're reading hoping that with how horrible they show the villains at least there will be comeuppance, I wouldn't get my hopes up for quite a while. <<less

*This is somewhat long, so please take your time to read it*

First of all, don't even bother with that one reviewer who can't get past the r*pe and mu*der. That reviewer is weak in the knees to even dare to review this masterpiece of a novel.

I got past the r*pe which was uncomfortable even to me, and the mu*der, but after that, it gets intense later on. By later on, it should be around ch 30-40, and the tang arc. Those fights are insane!!

You shouldn't assume this is all happy... more>> and good at the beginning as it's murim and the laws of the strong are what might makes right in the world of the novel he was transmigrated in.

As you all know, the MC here read the novel and even he called it absolute sh*t because of the protag's personality. In fact, he loathes him to his very core. He thought that by serving the protag, he would be happy but no, the protag's bit*h wife decided to sacrifice her female cousin daughter (that's the same age as our MC if I remember correctly) and frame this poor MC that he was the one who killed her. Enraged by the fact and that he's doomed, he thought the protag would protect him but no, that sh*t personality and the protag's plot armor (the novel that this novel's author, not the actual real author, created) is working against our MC here. He called bs and decided he won't entrust his life to him and decides to escape that continent.

Also, the bit*h wife also has an affair. YES, AN AFFAIR BECAUSE SHE WANTS TO MAKE SURE HER DAUGHTER GETS TO BE THE ONE TO USURP her father's throne and become queen. Who she had an affair with? I won't spoil it unless you can get past the r*pe and mu*der like the warriors of murim you are.

Anyways, now, about the tr*sh and disgusting vile of filth that the so called author (in the novel) created, the protag (I forgot his name because he was too disgusting to remember and I refuse to remember his name till our MC mentions him during reading). He's someone that every reader would want to kill. Why? Because he has bad intentions to his OWN DAUGHTER. In fact, he even kidnaps beautiful young women to his liking now that our MC is being blamed for, ever since his escape. He's using that advantage to kidnap women, even underage, from that school full of women, into his dungeon lair, and does all these unspeakable acts of disgust and rage inducing things!

Like how the first reviewer saw and decided to run away like a weak warrior would. Of course, no human can withstand the level of writing the actual real author created (props to the translators that literally almost died translating that disgusting filth's actions and words). No one could get past that and dropped it. I understand and won't stop all of you from dropping it. Just know you'll regret not continuing further beyond that.

The righteous sect is so corrupt that even our MC can't trust them. And even he knows that. And he knows he's so weak that he can't contend to those powerful beings as well, like the protag. So, to continue on from the r*pe and stuff, he trained by restarting his cultivation and found another path which is the yin yang book w/e you called it which he happen to have found in that secret underground library. It's a demon cultivation art thing. Basically it just gives you the cultivation to have s*x with women and to reciprocate that love with that woman and turn it into his power. That's the basis and foundation of his strength. Obviously it's not instant cuz he can't use it on random women. Only women he can trust and bonded with. But that's later on.

Look, If you have gotten this far, give it another go. Get past the r*pe and mu*der stuff, and I promise you'll be so immersed. The MC isn't a pe*vert.. although if it comes to women he absolutely despises, he will become a perv and just goes hammering like a monkey he is, on them because they f*king deserve to be humiliated and be stolen from the protag.. Istg, f*k those b*tches man, even their illogical reasoning pisses me off.

Also, our MC isn't strong, he trains for it through effort and for his love and courage to protect the weak and his women because he knows that. Also, also, his women aren't that weak. Murim women are different than normal women who are still being pampered in the novel. If that makes sense.

ps. the protag is only into younger women, not milfs (despite the fact that he married them and that their s*x is almost non-existent for many years after marriage and his milfs are lonely af) <.< hence the explanation above

pps. if you read the p*rnhwa of this, you... will see the difference between heaven and earth by reading it. <<less

This novel is grimdark, not a casual isekai comedy murim smut harem novel the unhelpful synopsis makes it out to be.

There are cruel and brutal depictions of r*pe and mu*der, it can be a shock if you're not expecting it, which is why there is a lot of 1 stars. I didn't want to rate yet but I'm trying to balance out the score. Basically the MC got isekaid into a webnovel where the original Protagonist was an incel psychopath, and the world is basically his personal playground, he f*cks... more>> and kills whoever he wants and basically he treats it like his personal Skyrim. And you see how insane this seems from an outsiders perspective if the Skyrim npcs were real people. <<less
