I personally am really enjoying this novel and looking forward to more. The MC starts fairly weak, though we are only two-ish weeks into the story and there isn't a good grasp on how he compares to others. The author does kind of cheap out on the blindness with the spatial perception, but I am okay with that for the overall story.

MC initially has to restrain his spatial perception ability and lacks the ability to see anything but the outline of objects with his spatial perception as more info is too overwhelming. This was interesting, however, he has already regained the ability to see color and his perception range is 100 meters (including through walls). Personally, I think if the MC had regained the ability to see color towards the middle or end of the first novel (chapter 50ish) it would have been better and more impactful that the MC was initially "blind."

FINALLY, A KNOVEL THAT STICKS TRUE TO ITS TITLE. If you like an interesting MC with an important past, a harem with unique character dynamics and a set of unique abilities to grow a unique action story, this is THE story for you.

Title and blurb says it all, my guy chose a bunch of restrictions to unlock useful OP traits. But thankfully, these traits don't automatically make him into an OP protagonist, but closer to someone filled with talent and able to grow. This places him in a unique position... more>> of both sympathy and hatred who can be hated for his talents/luck or pitied for his suffering, allowing for tension between people he meets but a level of sympathetic attraction as well - which works well for a decent harem story.

Combined with the fact that in his OG life, our MC was an orphan, shares the same scar in his new world, this novel drops a lot of mysteries which I hope get resolved well. This is a fleshling novel with only 24 ch after all.

Regardless, if you hate harem, don't pick this up. Same if you love OP protagonists who masquerade as weaklings, this seems closer to be an action story of someone working their way up to become the strongest ppl in the world, with a spicy bit of romance and harem to juice it up for my fellow cultured individuals. <<less

Hmm, this is a good change of rhythm... instead of OP protagonist that invokes admiration from everyone and grabs the attention of the heroines easily, he is weak, too weak that he invokes sympathy and guilt from the first heroine and I guess that this theme will persist with at least half of them.

For now, his professor is on her path to mistreating him (nothing nasty) but his conditions make even the least amount of mistreatment equal to severe abuse...
